Some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. I will be back again the next time I am in the area. Even the breast was nice and moist which rarely happens. And thw roasted chicken did not seem nearly as greasy as regular fried chicken.

A pleasant surprise to say the least. You can’t beat the portion sizes and the quality of the dishes did not disappoint either. Service was friendly albeit a bit on the slower side—but that’s to be expected in this laidback lake town.

The establishment and hostess were great. The food being sub par is a huge understatement. I chose the baby back ribs as they’re a special on Saturdays. The ribs were not seasoned… at all. Sauce is served cold and on the side. And they literally tasted as if they were boiled. They also charge 4% if using a card which.. I understand, but is ridiculous considering you’re dropping $100 per table.

A must visit if you find yourself in the area. The food, the service, the ambiance, even the prices are outstanding. The wife had the Broasted Chicken, the son had the Chicken Waffle Sandwich and fries, I had the Lemon-pepper Broiled Cod. The chicken was crisp on the outside and moist. The son described his food as “exceptional” and my meal was great. Our drinks were refilled in a timely manner. The “never-ending” salad arrived well before the entrees as it should. The entrees arrived soon after the waiter had cleared the salad. I only noted two “not exceptional” things; The breadsticks were ok and the pepper on my cod was a bit heavy-handed for my palate. Other than those two nit-picky things, our visit was beyond pleasant and the closest thing we’ve found in the area to a perfect dining experience.

First time experience and it was great! My husband and I weekend away and was so happy to find this place for dinner. I called made reservations for that same night glad I did it was packed. Everyone working were very nice and attentive. Food came out hot and quick. Great place o even bought a shirt. Would definitely go again if we ever are in the area.

Decided to stop in because nothing else was open. Had never been here before. We got pork tenderloin and Angus burger. Burger was very good but ordered with bacon. Couldn’t taste it. Pork tenderloin was pretty good but needs a little seasoning. Steak fries and slaw were good. Kind of pricey for what it is, but I’d go back and try again. We were in before 4:30 and wait staff seemed a little stressed. Wasn’t very full, yet. More were coming in as we left.
