My fiancée and I came here for lunch. I ordered the hot open-face turkey on rye with mashed potatoes and gravy. She ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The turkey was perfectly cooked and delicious and the rye was fresh and tasty. The mashed potatoes could have been mashed a bit better. My fiancée loved her dish. The service wasn’t fast, but definitely worth the wait. Also, their drink selection is a little limited, but we had no problem finding something (Diet Coke for her, water for me). The countertops were gneiss. I would definitely go back.

Disgusting food ,dirty interior and rude unprofessional staff and service. Even the owners are jerks. There’s a million better delis in the area. Will be closed permanently soon.

Excellent, decently priced sloppy joe sandwich. The meat is great, though the cole slaw is a little sweet.

We are so lucky to have this glatt kosher Jewish deli nearby. It truly never disappoints for any occasion or a weeknight meal. My family enjoys the corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, French fries, onion rings, salads, and buffalo wings.

i just got a sub from a new Italian place in east brunswick and the roll was day old(not fresh) when i went to leave a review it reminded me of my visit to the RYE DELI this week and how amazing the corned beef on rye was. I plan to be a regular there.

First time trying it, I got a Reuben on rye bread with fries and coleslaw. It was deliciously simple for a good price. Place was very clean. Exactly what I had in mind with no strange twist just a classic clean sandwich.

We ordered deli for 30 for my grandson’s bris. The delivery was 15+ minutes late. It arrived with no bread. There were 2 huge bowls of potato salad and coleslaw as well as a quart of each. There were condiments. There was one platter of deli meat. It seemed inadequate for 30 people. Half of the guests were from Long Island and Philly.
My other son called to express our concern that the meat was inadequate and check the order. The response from Rye was that “it is enough for 30 people but not 30 that eat like 50. I will send an extra loaf of bread.” We had 25 people with 24 eating. We ran out. Not one slice left. Had 6 more people arrived we would have been short. We paid almost $600 with the tip for the order. I have never ordered kosher deli for a specific number of people and been left with nothing let alone run out. We had too much salad and bread.
I was taken aback by the bad customer service. It wasn’t about the money for us. It was about hospitality. Rye’s flippant response, the offer of extra bread when there wasn’t enough deli, and their lack of customer service was unprofessional.
To be fair the food was fresh and delicious. Just not enough to fulfill the order placed.

Excellent, visiting family in New Providence needed a place for lunch before going back to Philadelphia area. Highly recommend to anyone that likes good. Good. We had BBQ brisket and a Chicken Mi with a side of fries. Everything was HOT and delightful. Can’t wait for our next visit.

This place is unbelievable. There is nothing like a kosher deli with the most delicious comfort food. The other day I had a Reuben on rye and my coworker had roast beef. Both sandwiches were out of this world. Today I had the Sabich and soup. I’ll be eating here all the time. This place is a hidden gem!
