The restaurant had a special menu for Valentine’s Day. Needless to say whoever made that decision should be fired. The gnocchi had a sauce on it that tasted like gravy out of a can and no seasonings at all, not even salt. I ordered the salmon that was also cooked without seasoning and was on top of mashed sweet corn. The corn taste overpowered the salmon. Lastly, we got the layered cake, which was good except for the nestle crunch on the bottom, and white chocolate mousse covered with something raspberry that I can’t describe. It tasted like jello and pudding mixed together. The texture gave me the ick to say the least. Overall the meal was horrible. I finished not one course. The original menu should’ve been offered, in my opinion. If the shortened menu was to prepare for a large crowd they failed because at our 8pm reservation there were plenty of empty tables and room at the bar. The meal was $90 per person with a hefty $40 “service charge” or whatever that means. I felt like I was robbed of my money and don’t know if I will ever go back to this restaurant.

The food here is so very delicious! Wide open atmosphere with a wonderful outdoor area to drink or dine. The Beef Tartar and Short Rib are a must have! Delicious oysters & ceviche.
Service from Melissa was excellent as well as Katie who’s extremely charming and knowledgeable about the menu.
Great drinks with a lovely view!
It does get pretty loud in here though, no biggie just a heads up.

Worst dining experience I’ve had in Charleston. The food was flavorless and seemed reheated in a microwave. For $45 per brunch, I would have expected much better. Also the service was nonexistent. We had to ask for our check and take the dessert to go because it took an hour and a half to get our meal despite there being four servers and an empty dining room. The staff seemed to be too concerned with this evenings reservations to pay any attention to the customers currently I. Their restaurant. I don’t typically write bad reviews but this was so bad I felt cheated and angry.

We went for happy hour. Great drink prices. $2 oysters and specials on calamari, fish tacos, and buffalo wings. We had it all! Calamari had an incredible tempura coating with a slightly spicy mayo sauce. Fish tacos were grouper..they were small. But you got 3. Buffalo wing sauce was a little too ketchup flavored for me. Oysters were big and tasty. Morgan was a great server. Nice ambiance outside with the fireplaces.

The food was the standout. We tried the calamari, salad, and chicken wings—all were absolutely delicious. The calamari was light and crispy, the salad fresh, and the wings were perfectly fried—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The Korean BBQ sauce was a highlight, with just the right balance of sweet and heat.
Cocktails, however, were a bit hit or miss. They were creative but leaned overly sweet. One included a melted popsicle, which made for a fun presentation but didn’t quite work for my taste—perhaps better suited for someone looking for a playful, dessert-style drink.
Overall, Élevé is a beautiful spot for a relaxed rooftop dinner with excellent food. Worth a visit if you’re seeking a quieter lounge experience in Charleston.

Came in this afternoon for a couple of cocktails on the rooftop patio and right as it started to rain, our waitress Ava was incredibly accommodating and attentive. She quickly helped us find a comfortable spot inside without any hassle and made the transition seamless. The food and drinks were great and the service really stood out. Ava was friendly, professional and on top of everything. Will definitely be back again soon!

Eleve is just a lovely experience all around. From the absolutely charming atmosphere, to the delicious food, to the helpful service, your experience at Eleve will be a welcome one.
The rooftop bar is a wonderful place to spend some time. The dining room is elegant. Waitstaff is friendly and accommodating. They are short-staffed, and food took over an hour to get to us on an unbusy weeknight, so that was frustrating. They did comp some of our meal.
Food wise, the soft shell crab appetizer was excellent. The fish dishes and burgers were great, as was the salad. Chocolate mousse was decadent!
Besides the long wait, we had a very nice time and will go back.
