It was $13.99 for an 8″ sandwich by itself, which I guess is fine when you consider how expensive every place is nowadays, and it was better quality meat and bread than what you’d get in a combo meal at the big burger chains for a similar price. Extra meat is $1 per extra ounce, which I thought was reasonable enough. It would’ve been another $8 to make a meal deal with soup and a drink, but the small soup cup on display looked really small.
Overall I think it’s worth going back to again.
#1- It had onions
#2- no avocado
#3- I don’t know what they use for the cranberry but it literally made me sick! After 3 bites I tossed it & now I feel like im going to
I really hoped to support this new local spot, but my experience was frustrating from start to finish. I ordered a turkey on rye for $10, expecting a full sandwich—what I got was half a sandwich, without any clear indication on the menu that it would be. Before ordering, I even asked how sizes work for sliced bread sandwiches and was told it depends on the ounces of meat—not that I’d only get one half of the bread.
When I went back to politely give feedback, the manager didn’t seem to care. He got defensive, argued with me, and offered nothing more than “a small discount next time”—which felt more like an insult than an effort to make things right.
This isn’t how a new business in Brentwood treats its community. People here value honesty, respect, and neighborly service. I truly don’t see this kind of approach lasting long in a town that takes pride in supporting local—but also expects better.
