I think it was the owner, but he started playing super Mario bro the movie on the tv and was very nice to us. we got a 25% discount for it being our first time there. (Its for very first timer) the pizza was amazing! I got the hot honey pizza and it was soooooo good y’all!

Well this started out by me misdialing because of a lag in my net, but turned out to be a blessing. Honestly, I was calling one of my fave pizza places in town, but ended up calling here. I even had to call back to make sure where I called. First of all, the lady who took my order was very friendly. I could hear the reluctance in her voice as I told her no pizza sauce. They did the pizza just right. Toppings on the thin crust were right to the edge and tasty. The manager or owner came out and introduced me to other available options for next time. All in all I was very impressed. I will be back. Count on it.

I travel all across the coast for work and at this point it’s an hobby to try different pizza places or the same ones in different locations. Donatos never fails me! I’ve been in Charleston for 2 weeks now and have ordered from the West Ashley location three times. My first time ordering I had the pleasure of meeting one of the managers Brooklyn. She was so nice, made sure my order was exactly what I wanted and just over all made my experience better. The way she interacted with other customers and the staff just showed that she is the right fit for this job and could definitely excel very swiftly in my opinion! My other two orders were delivered to my hotel. The driver was a very nice young man. It was a quick interaction but very pleasant at the same time. My delivery was on time and I was greeted with just happy energy. Seriously 10/10 great food, even better people, and this location will absolutely get my business every-time!

Everything was exceptional, the young lady behind the counter was adorable, sweet and spot on, the young man I believe was the manager was too kind he asked us if it was our 1st time here and it was so we received a discount, such a wonderful gesture, he was professional and definitely deserves recognition, as we were packing up two employees entered full of bubbly joy and Johnny on the spot with getting our to go boxes and anything else we needed. If there were more stars to comment on they would excel! The kitchen staff prepared a delicious meal, the salads were cold and dressed nicely, love the banana peppers, the pizza was hot and yummy both sandwiches were excellent! As we were leaving a young man gave us a return coupon! Kudos to all and thank you for making our late lunch a nice memory! Onward soldiers your amazing

The pizza was the best I’ve had in a long time — so good, in fact, that I went two days in a row. More important, the staff was very welcoming, friendly, and eager to help. I ordered the seven-inch individual “Vegy” pizza for dine-in, which was put in the oven on demand and ready to eat in only a few minutes. The pricing is very reasonable, and given the high quality of the pizza, it’s really a great deal! The atmosphere is very comfortable, and the music there isn’t overwhelmingly loud or distracting as it seems to be in so many places.
I really appreciate the kindness of the people who work there and look forward to visiting regularly for excellent pizza and service!

Donato’s always meets my expectations. This time they went over board. Having recently moving here we decided to get our favorite chicken mariachi and/or pepperoni, sausage and onions. I asked if they could do a medium 1/2 and 1/2 and responded absolutely. The service was GREAT, the pizza was superb, and we’ll return again. Thanks Rodney and crew for the super customer service.

What a warm welcoming team! The service and hospitality were outstanding! I haven’t been to a sit down restaurant that treats their customers as well as they did. Rodney came out and introduced himself to me and shook my hand and thanked me for ordering today. The cauliflower crust pizza was so flavorful- I really thought I was eating real pizza dough. This is our FAVORITE Charleston pizza joint. We LOVE the small square cuts so we can have a lil nibble if we aren’t in the mood to commit to an entire slice.
Charleston is a quite the food mecca & we both work in super duper high end joints downtown….and THIS pizza joint is where we chose to have our last meal before we move to Nashville tomorrow!
I HAVE to be gluten free but hubby doesnt… I only get the cauliflower or gluten free crusts & he NEVER even notices the difference. Its so thin, crispy & PERFECT….EVERYTHING you’re looking for in a pizza experience. And the ingredients go allllll the way to the edges. Our doggos usually get the crusts from our pizza, but unfortunately, they rarely get a nibble now.
