One of our favorite local go-tos! Weekend breakfast never disappoints, the chorizo and egg plate and pancake plate are always a perfect start to the day. During the week when we have a late day, we love stopping by for the burger plate or enchiladas, they always hit the spot! The Carne Asada, and Pastor tacos on homemade tortillas are highly recommended! As a parent of two little ones, I really appreciate the drive-thru for quick pick-ups. The owner and staff are always friendly and polite, the wait is short, and the food quality is consistently excellent. Thank you, La Carreta!

Kinda pricy but decent food. I love the drive thru option! I’ve been at least 3-4 times over the past couple of months and the workers aren’t very friendly. They aren’t rude, just very nonchalant.

This place has a good selection of Mexican food. The breakfast tacos (homemade flour tortillas) are hugely stuffed, delicious! We have tried several plates at this location and they are all great and delicious. Stop by you won’t regret it!!

Hands down the warmest and friendliest staff in town. Food is consistently delicious and good quality. The flour tortillas are made fresh, soft and fluffy every time. The margaritas are strong and the portions across the board are substantial.

Decided to share a review because this is our second time going back for the veggie omelets! Definitely one of the best breakfasts in rockdale. We wondered the first time if they always make them “fancy”, and now we can confirm that they do ❤️ update: we go here any time we want to eat out, definitely the best food in town. Always clean and good service too!

We had a wonderful experience at La Carreta. The horchata was fantastic and the homemade tortillas made our fajitas (which were themselves seasoned and cooked very well) even better. Our server was attentive and friendly. If we’re ever back in town, I’d go out of my way to go back to La Carreta!

Hands down the best Mexican cuisine I’ve had in a long time. We were lucky enough to be there on their 71st birthday. We were blessed to have one of the owners stop by our table to visit with us.
