We sought out Tabla, while through in Perth, having seen the owner at a festival. We arrived early and the place was quite quiet so we got a table easily. The staff welcomed us and were attentive,pleasant and efficient. They were immaculately clean and smart. We ordered our food which came out quite quickly. All of the food was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it all. The establishment was well run, was immaculately clean and the food was amazing. Would definitely return. Thanks also for the complimentary potato and possibly spinach wee pakora type things too !

I met the owner, Praveen, here for a meal but I don’t think it would have mattered if I wasn’t with the owner.
The restaurant was packed on a Monday night, the food was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten.
They also offer a home delivery service of quality meals frozen which maintain quality.
As a restaurant experience, this was perfect.

We ordered set meal for 2 for £40. Unfortunately food was very disappointing, blant and lacking any flavour. Sauces very watery, rice was plasticky and tasteless.
Spicy onions were in a tiny tub, definitely not worth the money. Won’t be ordering from this place again.

Always visit here while staying In Perth. Great friendly welcome from staff and owner. it’s a bright, spacious restaurant with a luvly atmosphere. We ordered our bottle of wine, a luvly Pinot at a very good price of £20.95 then a Mixed Tikka Platter to share, then a Railway Boti, and a Murgh Tikka njoyed with a garlic naan and a tandoori roti, all our food was delicious, and we thoroughly nioyed our evening, we will be back. 🙂 🙂

Absolutely superb food. The third time here and again, it’s superb. The tastes are amazing. It is one of the best Indian restaurants in Scotland. The Starters and mains have so much flavour. I can see why it is highly rated as an Indian restaurant.

We ordered their £20 special early bird dinner. Taste was okay, but not worthy. If I had reviewed the dinner menu, I would go for their dinner menu instead. BTW, they sent us double portions of nan/rice and charged us for them. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he refused to fix it!!

Food was okay but not worth the hype. We had sweet lassi which was not sweet or cold. Paneer was chewy, could be better with Indian spices.

Second time I have been to Tabla and both times were to celebrate my Husband’s Birthday. The food was delicious and the staff were so attentive and lovely. Thank you to everyone for going above and beyond for us. It made our night.
