Very nice people. Fast service and absolutely delicious food! I decided to try the katsu as it is a new dish to me. Not a whole lot of choices in the area where I live. I’m visiting Nashville for training and I am glad I stopped in this evening. The katsu is most definitely not a disappointment. Very tasty! It’s a beautiful little place.

This is one of my family’s go to restaurants! The decor and atmosphere is so comforting and nice, the staff is wonderful, and most importantly, the food is AMAZING. I have not ordered one thing off of their menu and been disappointed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese food.

I have been in TN since 2010, used to work around Maryland Farms area but had no clue this place existed. I recently moved to GA and was actually visiting my office and staying in a hotel nearby. Was driving around and I happen to see this place. Anyways long story short Service was so awesome everyone was so polite and nice. Guy making sushi even let me try this fried tuna which was so awesome. I had Hollywood rolls I think with salad and miso soup everything was great. This place is awesome definitely awesome sushi. Great service.

Didn’t have the highest expectations, but this place sure did meet them, and more. Easily the best sushi I’ve had in the whole state. Very fresh tasting and more authentic seeming than other joints. The lady serving us was attentive and friendly. The udon noodles were perfectly cooked and flavorful. The potstickers were wonderful. They were boiled but still had the crispy edges that are delicious. This place did not manage to score any points for ambiance, although I would definitely come here again.

Hanabi is literally the best sushi we’ve ever had! The staff is absolutely incredible. Bruce and Jackie, the sushi chefs, always take such good care of us, and make the best rolls! We leave there with full stomachs and huge smiles! You won’t be disappointed!

Service was fast and super friendly! Everyone greeted me when I walked in and wished me a good day when I left. The sushi was DELICIOUS! I got the Titans roll and the Sushi Burrito, and neither disappointed. Great combination of flavor, texture, and spice. Will definitely be back!

First time going to Hanabi and first time writing a review. Honestly Peter’s Sushi is close by and way better. So My wife and I brought our 2 kids and our server which was the older female owner was ABSOLUTELY, UNBELIEVABLY RUDE. Food is over priced, and once we told her we were eating light she scolded us for wasting her time. She ridiculed our kids when there jackets fell on the floor. And it just kept going. Another guy mentioned that she is crazy. We had to tell her to please leave our table and she tried to over charge us for what we ordered. We complained to another server and left. Never had that mean of a server in our lives. All I can say is hurt people, hurt people.

Who complains about their tip. Visiting town and wanted to try something different. The food took awhile to arrive at our table (20min, maybe 30min ) lost track of time. Food was great (can’t complain about the sushi) Another server picked up our plates and said we left too much soy sauce in the little dish they give you (Really!) its soy sauce. Then she said we needed to leave a higher tip for our waiter. Since when is 10% not enough for bad service. We where asked not to complain and to not come back. Its unfortunate to be treated this way on our first trip to Nashville. 🙁 Diners Beware

After visiting Japan I was craving authentic ramen and fresh sushi so I asked my Japanese co-workers to recommend a Japanese restaurant and they said Hanabi was their favorite. My wife and I prefer the food there so much that we drive from Spring Hill at least once a week instead of going to local Japanese restaurants. It is very much worth the extra drive! And the staff are always very friendly and make sure we are having a great time.

First time there last night. Only one table of people in restaurant. Food average. Do not order soft shell crab, tiny with no crab just shell. Soup was cold. We did not get a fork for salad, had to get up and ask for one, waitress never came by to check on us. Waiting 10 minutes for our bill, again had to go to front desk and ask. I did leave a 10% tip even though not deserved and waitess had gall to state ‘you only leave 10%, that all you leave’. My last trip there.
