Good food. Order at counter. The first time I went and paid in advance, I was not asked for a tip. This was refreshing and they cheerfully delivered my food to the table. I left a bit of cash so happy I was not asked to tip 25% up front. I was ready to make this my new fav lunch place. Next time I was given the typical opportunity to tip a lot in advance. Bummer.

I just went to eat here a few days ago while I was in the Area.
The restaurant looks pretty clean and inviting. But the employee who was taking orders and bringing out food to the customers made the restaurant look real nasty and dirty. I ordered the Smashburger and french fries. While I was waiting for my food, I got an opportunity to admire the place. From my vantage point, looking at the employee who took my order. He was a grown man by the way. I saw him get a tissue and blow his nose through his napkin in the trash, went inside to the kitchen area to get my order bring it to my table and after putting my order on the table, Walking away with his back towards me, he wiped whatever was at his nose with his hand I was instantly not hungry anymore. I was sitting there contemplating not knowing what to do. because I’ve never experienced anything like this before I don’t know if he did that on purpose or what but it’s definitely not the way I would like to be served. I don’t think anybody should be served food in that way by an employee who doesn’t have the frame of mind to wash his hands after blowing his nose knowing full well that he could me someone sick with his nasty behavior.
I had him give me a to go bag and box for me to take my order to go, I then left and I threw it in the trash. I’m sure the food was good, but I will not taking any chances of my life.

I’ve been here twice. First when they first opened, which was great, but now a year later, the quality has dropped significantly. Burger was cold and much smaller than the photo. The fries were just soggy pieces of fries. Hard to find one over an inch long. Maybe it’s not a good idea to leave the running of a restaurant to a 16 year old and one cook. I almost went to Jack in the Box and saw this place on the way there and remembered it. Really wish I had gone to Jack in the Box

By far to date, the best thing ever put in my mouth, the bison GOAT burger, at Pure Burger Bar! Lemon Tumeric Healthy Soda, respectful friendly staff, incredible atmosphere, I will bring everyone I know here! Vegan options were available however, the grass fed bison is another thing all together! I saw salad too on the menu! Enjoy, friends!

Great burgers! I get the vegan one. We go for the gluten free ease. Boyfriend and I are both celiac. Fries are 100% gluten free with no cross contamination. Love their natural sodas also! Just wish they were open for lunch. We constantly think to go eat here and then realize it’s closed.

Burgers are good but nothing special. Larger space than I expected but fairly sterile inside, no character. They have several TVs with games on and a small bar. Nice if you’re stuck in South SC but too many better choices in the area, especially for burgers. We won’t be back.

It’s interesting to see this has a rating of 4. We had a fantastic experience. Looking places to grab a burger and settled on Pure Burger Bar strictly from the menu online. The prices seemed extremely fair compared to other low end places. We placed an order for carry out, scheduled for pick up at 1:15, arrived at 1:09, waited about 5 minutes to get food and it arrived promptly at 1:14. We ordered the Bird Burger, Spicy Smash Burger and one each pure/season fry. Spicy Smash was delicious. It was a good size, cooked well, had just enough spicy zing to let it be enjoyable. The Bird was decent too, keeping in mind it’s a burger joint, the chicken was slightly dry but it was still tender enough for us to not care. The flavor was there and again, quite good. The fries are fresh cut similar to five guys, and of course by the time I got home they were a little cold and limp. 3 minutes in an air fryer took care of of that though. Over all this was a great place to get a good restaurant level burger at a decent price.

We love the burgers at Pure Burger Bar but sadly, the staffing has been awful ever since they opened. When I walked in last night there was no one out front to greet me. I waited over 5 minutes before two people came out from the kitchen. There was only 1 person inside the entire restaurant and a family sitting outside. I waited another minute while they served the guests. By the time I got my food it was getting cool and I had to reheat it when I got home. I want Pure Burger Bar to succeed but they have to create an environment that is welcoming. The staff, one in particular, has no personality. I hope management gets this message. Great neighborhood burger bar but no ambiance that makes you feel like you want to come back. Very unwelcoming. I also don’t see them marketing themselves in our neighborhood which I think is a mistake. Hope to see improvement in the future!
