I’m vietnamese, came here to celebrate lunar new year. This pho spot NAILED the authentic flavors. Fresh coconut water was perfectly sweet, wontons juicy and savory. Pork over rice was tender and balanced, while bun Bo Hue broth SMACKED. Highly authentic, I will be back soon!

Decided to try this place for dinner. The time we was there, it wasn’t busy so food came out quick. I had pho. Pho wasn’t bad but the broth is on the sweeter side. Banh mi was good. Wife seem to enjoy here sizzling dish. There’s other dish we would like to try in the future.

The place had a nice atmosphere and the owner was super nice checking up on us. Our waitress was also very attentive. Their pho is on the sweeter side, so if you like that this is the place. I also enjoyed their milk tea. I would return to this restaurant again when I’m in the Hickory area.

Tried out Hot Pho the Monday after their grand opening, around 11am and were able to get in before the lunch rush.
We ordered the Crab Pillows, Pho Dac Biet, one of the rice dishes, and Ca Phe Sua Da.
The Crab Pillows were good. They came with 6pcs and were fried well, not greasy, and stayed crispy. The filling had more crab than cream cheese, so it’s definitely more worthwhile.
My parents ordered the rice dish. They said it was good but they preferred other places in town.
The Pho was good and the portion was a decent size. You can see broth has some fat from the beef to it which provides a good flavor, but if you prefer a leaner broth it may not be for you. I dont mind it so much and thought it was well-balanced.
The Ca Phe Sua Da was good as well. I was worried because it came pre-mixed, since most Vietnamese restaurants will provide you the drip coffee and allow you to mix the iced coffee with the condensed milk yourself. Regardless, it ended up being strong and creamy and met my expectations.
You pay at the register once you get your check. For 2 Pho Dac Biet, 1 com tam dish, 1 appetizer, and 2 ca phe we spent about $70 not including tip. We also paid cash to avoid the 3% card transaction fee.
I would return to Hot Pho. The facility is clean (I didnt check out the bathroom), the service was good, and the food was decent. I think going forward, as long as they can be consistent about the quality of their food, then it’d be a solid addition to the Hickory restaurant scene!

Stopped by to try their banh mi and rice plate! Pretty satisfied! Only thing missing from the rice plate was the fried tofu and meatballs I usually get from the other local restaurant other than that, Pretty good! Will definitely try the other items next time!

We enjoyed our meals at Hot Pho this week. We each ordered a different pho dish, and both were served hot and delicious. Our server was kind and attentive, which made for a pleasant dining experience. My only concern was the atmosphere. Music played on and off throughout our meal, and when it was on, it was unedited rap with explicit language. If this is the restaurant’s usual choice of music, I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable dining here with children.

First thing I noticed was the large white marble tiles that gave it a really classy atmosphere. The next was the immediate greeting we received as we walked in. Staff were all friendly. They all worked together to provide the best dining experience for their customers. Food was all on point with, what seemed, their own twist on traditional dishes. There was nothing that was not worth recommending!

I really enjoy eating here! I’ve noticed that every time l eat at other pho places, I feel very thirsty afterward, but I don’t have that problem at this restaurant – which means a lot to me. The food is delicious and feels much lighter and cleaner. Great service also.

Just came back from the soft opening and my first time experience here was great! I ordered the beef pho, and it was sweet and savory. We also ordered a brown sugar boba on the way out which we usually don’t do cause restaurants aren’t known for producing the best boba, but it was surprisingly delicious!
Service was friendly and checked on us often.
The restaurant itself was beautifully renovated and very clean. If it stays consistent like this then this is definitely our new pho spot!

Brought my parents here for breakfast they loved the pho & appetizer. And as a brown sugar milk tea girly, I had to try theirs …. And it was great! Food was great and service was amazing. Will come again .
