Still a solid 5 stars. The owners are incredibly kind and give off true mom-and-pop vibes — you feel welcome the second you walk in.
The drinks are cheap, and the mixed drinks are poured strong (they definitely don’t skimp ). If you want it lighter, just ask — but it’s always nice getting your money’s worth.
They always have good entertainment, and on those nights the place is packed with energy. The regulars are friendly and welcoming, which makes it easy to feel like part of the crowd.
Great atmosphere, great people, and great prices. Definitely worth stopping in.

Our bartender/ waitress was absolutely the best! We came to town to see the Christmas lights…they were gorgeous. We stopped to have a beer and ended up having a giant pork tenderloin…excellent!! But the best part was our server…sorry I didn’t get her name but whatever she’s being paid is not enough..when we left I went to shake her hand and she hugged me…damn I love small towns!! We will be back

The Doghouse is the best small town bar and grill! Marcia and Richard do a great job fixing tasty bar food and tending bar. Atmosphere is warm and friendly. If you enter a stranger, you leave as a friend. Highly recommend!
