The food is very good like always. I liked my pita as it was cooked well and had a lot of flavor, all the while not being too hot. I also liked the fries as always since I enjoy their seasoning. Overall, would recommend stopping by.
Large portions, delicious seasoning, and taste, friendly owners, clean inside the restaurant. Good special on Tuesday/Sunday.. 999 Gyro Meal. I don’t think you can get a better $10 plate of food
in the Tampa area.
Personally, I am so picky about taste. I have to say it’s the seasoning that they use here that just makes the good taste incredible. That’s what makes it MY favorite.
The main reason I’m giving this place a 3 instead of a 4 is the fries. They’re usually soggy and heavily seasoned. Even when I asked for crispy fries this time, a few were better, but most were still soft and extremely overseasoned. I’d normally blame soggy fries on a to-go box, but made this experience dining-in as well. Even when I’ve taken food to go in the past and tasted a few fries right away, they’ve been soggy from the start.
I wanted them so bad that I even asked ChatGPT if I should risk it. It explained why my concerns were valid. (Included at the bottom of this review)
As someone who has to be extra careful about food safety right now, this was incredibly disappointing and honestly concerning. I expected way better quality from a restaurant with such good reviews. I couldn’t risk eating them and had to throw them out.
“ Thanks for sharing the photos — and yes, your concern looks valid.
⚠️ Here’s what stands out:
1. Slimy appearance – While dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) can be oily or glossy due to olive oil, the ones in your photos appear excessively wet and mucilaginous, almost like they’re covered in a thick goo. That is not typical and suggests either:
• Improper storage or reheating
• Spoilage due to excess moisture or improper packaging
• Sauce curdling or separating
2. Discoloration in the rice/filling – The filling looks a bit off: grayish-brown, dull, and almost mushy. Normally, it should look distinct with well-cooked rice and minced meat or herbs. Yours looks overcooked or possibly decomposing.
3. Texture of the grape leaves – They look wrinkled and overly soft, not fresh or tender. This could mean they were reheated multiple times or left out too long.

❌ This Is Not How Good Dolmades Should Look:
• Dolmades should be firm but tender, not soggy.
• The rice should be distinct and not overly mushy.
• There shouldn’t be milky residue or a slimy layer.
• Even if served cold or room temp, they should smell fresh—not sour, musty, or “fridgey.”
⸻
✅ What to Do:
• Don’t eat them — especially if there’s any off smell or taste.
• Take clear photos (which you already did) and note the time you received the order.
• Contact Little Greek directly and/or the delivery service with a refund request.”
Don’t bother with this place unless you like your meat well done. Meat should be sliced not cube chunks.
