My husband is from Georgia and we live in Missouri so we have to drive at least an hour to get Zaxby’s. We have been to the Roger’s location a few times and always get great food and service. We visited on 1/10/26 at lunch time and as always great food and service the thing I wanted to mention however is there were only to gentleman working doing it all and they did amazing. They were professional and gave wonderful costumer service.

My husband was diagnosed with Alpha gal a few months back and since then we have avoided going out to eat entirely. Today we decided to take a risk and stop at zaxbys since they are known for their chicken and do not fry in beef tallow. I am absolutely impressed with this location but especially the gentleman that helped us named Alex! He went above and beyond the bare minimum making sure all the ingredients didn’t have any hidden allergens but would still taste good! Not once did he make us feel as an inconvenience or acted annoyed and that means the world to us especially on days I want my husband to feel normal and be able eat somewhere that is not just home and be able to actually enjoy his meal! Carbs are king at this chain, where most everything is breaded and deep fried. I enjoy deep fried things. In particular, I am connoisseur of fried cheese curds.
I think I ate at one of this chain once like 20 years ago and I don’t remember what I had, so it was time to try again.
About noon on a Thursday, the place wasn’t packed and was nicely clean. We were able to promptly order. Our food was ready in about 10 minutes, everything to order.
My husband ordered chicken tenders and fries. He requested the really hot sauce, which he said had a nice kick but was watery. I had the current special, the fried shrimp, with the standard sauce, fries, and toast. A very brown plate. We also shared an order of cheese curds. Some kind of sauce is necessary because otherwise the food would be incredibly bland. This was especially true for the shrimp and curds, because the breading was incredibly thick and had no seasoning. I am a cheese lover, and the cheese was lost in that crust; there was no pull at all. Everything was edible, though, and easy to eat in a hurry, which was what we needed. I have a feeling it might be another 20 years before I try this chain again, though.

We came in on a Saturday afternoon with a larger party as we are visiting family from out of town. Right out of the gate Alex, the front of house associate, was very kind and helpful. He was very patient with our large party all on one order, and double checked everything was great many times throughout the experience.
I wanted to take a moment to highlight his great attitude, and excellent customer service skills.

Very modern location. The food was normal Zaxby’s quality. Not much else to say. Unfortunately they didn’t have a Coke Freestyle, but they did have Cherry Fanta which is cool.

It’s a great place to go eat. We’ve got plenty of different salads that you can eat. Got it, chicken fingers and a lot of things. I can’t mention because there’s too many, but anyhow. I recommend this place to anybody who wants a good thing. Family mill, our single person. It doesn’t matter. They accommodate for everything

Ordered a large meal which means they give you extra fries and they didn’t barley looks enough for a regular meal and they were stale and cold. The wings tasted old as well. Worst zaxbys in the area even the ghetto one in springdale is better.
