I have been buying take out from this restaurant for almost 15 years and was always very pleased with the food until the last few orders. The texture of the chicken has changed, fried rice is completely different and in general nothing tastes as good. New chef, supplier change (?) not sure but need to find a new take out sadly. 🙁

I live probably one minute away….. I ordered our meals and came home…… probably less than 2 minutes away…. The food was already very cold!!!….. I wouldn’t eat there again unless I stood there ordered my meal and watched them cook it lol

We went back this past Tuesday. The food, although cooked well, was seasoned so poorly. The egg rolls, pork fried rice had very little flavor. And the chicken with pea pods was so salty it was not edible. We had to throw out it was so salty! Its as if the cook knew how to cook the dishes but never tasted what he or she was serving to the public. Strange. We’ve been going here for years now and have fir the most part seen consistency.
But now we are seeing things change. It’s unfortunate. And reading the other more recent reviews of this place it seems we are not the only ones seeing this negative change.
I don’t want to write a poor review and have a negative affect on a local business. But our latest experience was such that we will not go back.
Just a point of interest. I’m a trained chef. Trained at NECI an accredited school in Vermont. I’ve eaten all over and have a pretty good palette. I know when food is being done poorly. And for the prices they ate now changing, their food should be spot on. It’s not.

My first time. We all order what we like from Chinese restaurant’s . My personal faves are shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg foo young. By far the best I have had in forever. enjoyed 100% . it was still too hot to eat when I got it home, which I really like. The complete separation of combined flavors was fantastic. Very reasonable $ for these times ,plenty of leftovers for lunch today. If I am ever in that area of “STAVEN” again , I will absolutely get my faves and try something else. I love a good hot and sour soup and spring rolls. Anyone out there ever had these yum yum’s at this place? Also must mention very friendly service…

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a Chinese restaurant. First off I ordered a dinner and a side of teriyaki chicken and I was given pork instead of chicken the dinner was cold the lomain looked like it had been cooked days ago and the rice was so hard I couldn’t stick my finger through it! I called and told them I wanted a refund and I was bringing it back. When I walked in the woman behind the counter grabbed the food out of my hand and was accusing me of lying about how much I paid… I was actually trying to tell her that I ordered a soda and didn’t expect a refund for the soda before I could finish she said “I deal with people like you every day” and basically though the money at me!

Worst faux Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. My wife placed an order thinking it would be delivered. No. So she went to pick it up. She compliments them on their efficient ordering system and the speed and accuracy with which they prepared the food when she got there. But we agree with each other that the food itself was awful. Flavorless. Couldn’t distinguish the chicken from the beef. The snow peas were overcooked. The fried rice was a joke. There was no heat to the supposedly hot dishes (you could pick out a hot pepper and suck on it and not detect even one Scoville unit). We were not expecting fine dining, but gimme a break. I’ve eaten at strip mall Chinese places since the 1950s and I’ve never had food this bad.

Ordered over 70.00 dollars worth of food. Never received it! Delivery people stole my order plus other people’s orders! Restaurant could care less! Said it’s not their problem! Don’t order food from here if you are getting it delivered!

Love their boneless spare ribs. Always quick, simple takeout. No they don’t blow rainbows at you, but it’s a simple Chinese food. I also think it says something good about the place if they do well enough not to do takeout.

This place is very nice. I have enjoyed coming here each and every time. They are pretty quick and the food quality is always good. The staff is always polite and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.
