The restaraunt is located on a small street with parallel parking and its a medium sized space with comfortable booths and tables. The decor was lively and tasteful. It also has a nice sized bar. The food menu has a great variety of appetizers and entrees. The drink menu is also good. I ordered their quesabirria tacos . The brisket was delicious and the consemme dip was good. The service is excellent. The server was knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

The music and lights grabbed my attention as I was walking by. My family and I stopped in and we had the BEST margaritas and food. It was delicious. From being greeted at the door to paying our bill, it was all great. I even came back for lunch to get their amazing birria tacos. So delicious!! Will definitely be a must dine at spot for me when I come to visit the area.

I’d driven by this place several times and wanted to try it out, but never made it happen. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays, and closed around holidays, so it just never worked out. Finally decided to try it and it was not a great experience. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good and for a reasonable price. My issue was the service. The waiter was very friendly, but literally apologized every time he came to the table. He was sorry they couldn’t find orange juice for the Cantorito, but it took a very long time for him to come back to the table to tell me that. All while not taking our food order. They weren’t very busy, yet the attention we got felt like they were overwhelmed by the work. Next he was sorry because they were out of chips. How is that even possible? Then he was sorry because he brought the wrong drink. Finally, the food took a long time to get, as well. I got the birria tacos, which were good, but maybe only because I was super hungry because the consomme was rather flavorless, which I only tried after I had devoured the tacos. The steak taco was delicious. The regular margarita was meh, but the passion fruit margarita (which I ordered after the orange juice apology, but was originally made wrong) was amazing. All in all, the summary is that the food was good, but I still probably won’t be back.

401 Cantina in Northwood Village, West Palm Beach has incredible food. We stopped in for lunch while working on our own restaurant down the street. My father and I had the chicken and steak quesadillas, and they were fantastic great flavors and generous portions. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

I love this neighborhood spot and was so bummed out when they closed all summer (2025). They have reopened, and now it’s not just wine and beer anymore. Real tequila for real margaritas. The tacos are great. Happy hour starts at 3pm when they open. What more could you want? Alina and Christian are friendly servers/bartenders and make your time there feel intimate and Northwood neighborly. I love this place! I just wish they’d get back the charred, smoky beans they used to serve. Otherwise I’m happy as a clam coming here.

Great food, excellent service, reasonable prices. Really enjoyed my crispy fish taco, shrimp taco, and they make their own chips in house which are delicious! We also came in around 8:30 on a night they close at 9 and they were still incredibly accommodating. Thank you too the servers and chef, we’ll definitely be back for a taco Tuesday in the near future!

Live close by so had high hopes for decent Mexican. We got nachos which was watered down queso-awful. Then we sat for a long time waiting for our super fajitas. When they didn’t come after 25 minutes, we were the only other table in there, we asked and our waiter never put the order in. Needless to say, a dismal awful dining experience. Never go back, really really disappointed. Btw, the place is empty- we went 6:30 Wednesday night. 2 guys next to us, no take out , nothing. Very sorry.

I can’t say enough about this lovely spot in our Northwood neighborhood! The staff is super nice, the food is WONDERFUL, and the atmosphere is chill!
