I live in this area. my first trip here was great and I received great customer service and the coffee was good. the second trip I encountered someone who didn’t really greet me when I came to the counter even though I was the only one and she wasn’t really busy and the coffee she made was not that great because it was almost all oat milk on top and the syrup on the bottom. they definitely have very good pastries but the coffee is more questionable.

My sister in law took me and my husband here in 2022 to get some pastries and our wedding cake. Customer service was amazing and the cake turned out so great. People loved it so much. There were no pastries at the end of the night! And the cake tasted amazing.

Good thing I tried their cakes before ordering a cake for my event. I got a cupcake and a slice of the cake of the day, neither were fresh – both tasted like they were at least four or five days old. The buttercream also tasted gross. I will never buy cakes or pastries from here again and neither should you.

Somewhat pricey but verrry well made cakes and bars. No longer have several offerings, like bread pudding. They do have a huge selection though. I typically get Princess cake, Napoleon cake, fruit tartlettes, butter cookies dipped or stuffed with chocolate. Occasionally they give us the wrong item. Service is excellent.

I’ve been there for decades. This is my favorite place for birthday cakes. Our favorites are the pear tart, the berry tart and the Princess cake. The crust is excellent and different from other Victor Benes stores. I still have not find a place in L.A. that makes better cakes than this place.
