Everything is good. The special fried rice has tons of veggies and meat, the hot braised chicken was actually stellar 11/10. Sweet and just a bit spicy. Tons of food for your money too

The hot braised chicken was classic and just a tad extra spicy so that was a nice different touch,

The general tso came with a bunch of amazing broccoli cooked perfectly and much bigger prices (some dark meat but tasted great) and fewer of them but that was a nice different touch as well.

Sweet and Sour shrimp was huge and great. Only about 8 big prices for a while order but they were huge so it was a whole order actually.

Whole orders are $10 which is definitely fair.

They charge a bit more for their canned sodas but they have to pay the bills and we know they are high. I work in restaurants even fine dining cant make it sometimes you really gotta appreciate how I got like 6 pounds of all this delicious food cooked for only $50 bucks. That’s a deal these days for sure.

Worst food I’ve ever had… The crab Rangoon tasted expired. They where rude on top of everything… Wouldn’t even feed this food to my dogs!!! For the money I spent I would have at least wanted a little bit of better food.

Just ordered the General Tso’s for lunch and it Must have been the worst Chinese I’ve ever had… chicken was huge super chewy chunks. Rice had almost no flavor and crab raccoons were terrible… I seriously threw it away and made a turkey sandwich at home instead. Worst $28 ever spent. Go to STL kitchen by the Schnucks in maplewood for your Chinese instead. You won’t be disappointed.

TASTES LIKE RUBBER,THREW WHOLE PLATE AWAY
‍♂️

The whole meal was over priced in my opinion. After taking a few bites I was disappointed to say the least (even the egg roll tasted like rubber) I called them immediately asking for a refund the owner responded saying she would only give credit or remake order.
So that’s kind of lame since the food was so inedible (plastic and synthetic tasting).
Obviously I wouldn’t want more if it’s not good.

– I think places like these stay open because people from the surrounding area are used to eating low income trash and don’t know what real food should taste like.

I will not be ordering again.
Cost : $13

Edit: added price

I love this place, it’s my favorite take out Chinese food in the area. Don’t listen to the people leaving low reviews. They don’t have taste.

We found this place on Google & looked at an online menu. When we got there, the menu items/prices that are listed online are almost tripled. It was only a man & woman behind the counter, the lady got an attitude because I questioned the menu pricing online vs the menu pricing in store. I don’t recommend the crab rangoon but the shrimp/pork fried rice & chicken wings were good.

I don’t want to leave a bad review for anyone but this food is horrible. The ingredients are extremely low quality. The chicken is as fatty as it can be and the fried rice tastes like white rice and has no flavor.

Ordered takeout. Food was not seasoned. Beef had no flavor. Noodles are more spaghetti than lo mein.. also no flavor. Will not pick this place again.

I ordered 1/2 shrimp fried rice, 1 full order special fried rice, and order crab rangoon. I was somewhat surprised at the cost nearly $30. I got home and opened the full special fried rice and saw all the meat, vegetables and goodies on top!
H I wever, when I poured the entire contents on a plate, I discovered approximately 80% rice. I removed the excess and mixed all together. The result was sadly a very bland dull version of special fried rice. The shrimp fried rice was similar in quality.
We have been to this location numerous times over the last several years and have seen a gradual slide downward in quality and big increase in price.
I’ll be looking elsewhere from now on.
