Saw they were open so dropped in the drive thru. Was excited to see they had puffy tacos. Ordered a beef puffy and two regular supreme beefy crunch tacos for him. We honesty could not tell the difference between the two. Both shells were stale. The beef in both seemed to be in a heavy tomato sauce and left an after taste.

So, this truck has a building you can order from, and eat in. I ordered 1 of each type of taco. The shredded beef and chicken were the stars, the steak wasn’t bad, but no where near as good as the other two. We ordered the plate, so it came with rice and beans. Both were good. We also took home a shredded beef quesadilla, which was as good as the tacos. Go give this place a shot, you won’t regret it.

Absolutely worse “taco experience” I’ve ever had! I read all the positive reviews and heard a lot of great things from friends but I went yesterday with my neice and it was horrible. Food was nasty. The “famous puffy shell taco” was the absolute most nasty thing I’ve ever eaten. Tasted like grease and the flavor of the meat was way below par. The rice was sticking together in clumps and was dry. Chips were extremely stale. The only positive was their queso was very good and the sweet tea was good as well. Spent the entire night on the porcelain throne. Never going back.

They came to my neighborhood and I was excited due to all the hype and great reviews. Upon looking at my food and what my daughters had, I was very upset and felt like we were ripped off, honestly and unfortunately: The toppings are VERY skimpy smh (I wish I took pictures) and the ground beef tasted as if it belongs in a spaghetti dish instead of taco/nacho dish. The steak in my soft taco had dried out, hard pieces of meat (never serve stuff like that). Although the flavors were not bad (everything tasted good except the dried out/old steak in my taco), I would not recommend them based on this visit (my first time trying them) and would like to try a different taco truck in our neighborhood.

One of my favorite taco trucks by far. I think their colossal nachos are the best I’ve ever had. The fajita style steak taco is delicious. You get quality flavored meats with their food. I can’t wait to have it again!

Dear God, this food is good. If you want some authentic Mexican food, this is the place in Pensacola to get it. We have some good Mexican restaurants in town, but they all kind of taste the same after a while. The Happy Taco isn’t like that because their food is so fresh, creative, and obviously made with a lot of care. I highly recommend the tacos and the loaded nachos!

I love a good taco and in this nice warm afternoon stopped there for a late lunch. The crispy ground beef tacos were delicious. Perfect seasoning and lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese in super ratio. I will return again and try something different.

Very, VERY good! I had a vegetarian quesadilla, specially made to order to accommodate my food allergy. The owner was very helpful, knowledgeable about my food allergy, and just very accommodating. The vegetables were extremely fresh and the meal was great! I will definitely make a return visit.

Food tastes good and tastes fresh crisp lettuce and tomatoes ground seasoned well. This ain’t no chain so be patient with order cashier at drive thru very helpful and friendly. A little pricey, only because I’m cheap. Priced slightly higher than the national chain but lot better quality food and service.
