Beautiful views! All sorts of comfortable seating to lounge about by the wading pool or ocean view. Drinks are delicious! All fresh juices and syrups, and I had the best espresso martini I’ve ever had here! Great happy hour menu too, we just got a few snacks and they were all lovely. Good vegetarian options too, I chose the cauliflower taco and it was so unique and yummy. Hosts, bartenders, and servers are all welcoming and friendly. Such a relaxing place!

Went to this place based on a recommendation from our hotel for a place for the sunset. Went up to the Third floor. Waited to be noticed and seated for 10 minutes. There were three waiters at the bar and only one person. We finally left. So rated the service poor, and disappointing. Didn’t get a chance to try the food. Atmosphere may have been nice, but we didn’t get to try that either. There’s not much of a view of the pier or the sunset due to the walls at that end.

We stopped in for sunset happy hour. Sliders and beers. It has potential, great views, maybe make it 21 and over only? There’s plenty of places for people to take their kids. This spot would be a lot nicer if you left the toddlers at home or in the hotel room.

For starters, we were hotel guests staying at Inn at the Pier, there was no one at the pool on a Monday for lunch so we decided to try out some appetizers. I highly recommend the Burrata Caprese, so tasty! Wish I had more bread to make the meal last longer but was so good. We also stopped by for dinner and the view was probably our favorite since we got to sit right along the balcony and watch the sunset. We ordered bacon wrapped jalapeño shrimp and the mango puree was a great touch. The Angus burger and grilled chicken club were a hit, the fries were perfectly seasoned and the portions were large! The kids chicken tenders were also very good. Can’t forget about the service, our server was really nice and was always attentive to our table.

Beautiful views of Pismo Beach & Pier! When the whales are out, you’re also at a great vantage point to see them in the distance. You don’t need to be staying at the hotel to enjoy the bar/restaurant. Many seating options near the rooftop pool, fireplace, couches, tables or the bar. Food was well-prepared and so delicious! Staff was super friendly and attentive. I had the Ahi nachos and enjoyed the afternoon with a Brut Rose.

The service was 10/5 stars thanks to our amazing server Hannah. Example, when I needed a gluten free option she vastly accommodated and provided the amazing House Roasted Turkey on kale. It wasn’t exactly a sandwich but I want to order it this way every time moving forward. She also fixed my drink which I would have normally give. The Mexican candy drink a 3/5 but her service made it a 10.
4/5 is for the drinks which I think could taste a little less soapy but the rest of the experience saved the review.
My 80 year old grandmother had a fun time for her birthday which was the win for me! Thanks Hannah, you deserve a raise for fixing our wobbley table and taking such amazing care of us!

Gorgeous view and good drinks. Highly recommend this place on a sunny evening.
Came for an Appy and a glass of wine and was not disappointed. Hummus was gorgeous and the service was prompt.

I just a great place full of nice people like Tag, Carrie and Polly, they are great and make you feel like home, very attentive, great installations very nice atmosphere, good music. I spent a such great time day and definitely recommend The Rooftop.
