I have lived in the area for a long time and was there the first week of this restaurant opening. So excited to have a cool sushi spot here. They used to even have “Tori”, the robot waiter. So fun.
Skip ahead to two days ago. I had a promo and had not stopped in for awhile. I ordered a very standard salmon roll for takeout. The place had basically started a drive thru window and just has sort of a sticky dull feel. Hoping for the best, I took my roll home and have spent the weekend with food poisoning.
I used to love this spot, but can not reccomend any more.

Delcious! The fish is so fresh and the flavor combos of their rolls were perfection. We had Kaitlyn as our server and kudos to her for her excellent service as well! And the ambiance is cozy and inviting. It would be a good date spot. You can’t go wrong, a must try.

Had a great time eating here for lunch. The service was quick and great, while the food was fresh and yummy. I really loved the crisp Gyoza and the 2 sushi rolls I had. The price was reasonable and I will definitely be coming back!

Tori Tori sushi is conveniently located near my mom’s place so we initially dined here due to its convenient location.
The sushi seems fresh and the staff is excellent. The side dishes are also good. As I recall, for the price, some rolled sushis come only in a set of four rolls. I usually get more rolls at other sushi joints.
We’ve visited Tori at least half a dozen times since so we obviously enjoy our dining experience here. The only negative is their ramen. I’ve learned my lesson. Never order ramen from a sushi restaurant. it’s usually a bad idea as it’s not their primary focus. So, I suggest taking if off the menu as it’s not worth it.
The green tea is not the usual large batch source, but comes with its individual tea bag which is something I’m not used to. They will refill with hot water if needed, but then the tea is diluted there on with each refill.
Overall, not a superior or bad sushi, but leaning slightly above average and an honest 4 stars for quality and ambiance for the clean space.

I highly recommend this hidden gem here in orange county. The fish and the quality is top notch. Super reasonable. The waitress and owner was very polite and their so welcoming. I had to order the sushi about 2_3 times. It that good. The ramen is very fresh and so yummy. We are recommending this spot to all our clients friends and family. Great aesthetic and very clean place. Free sake with your order. I really enjoyed my time.

Delicious food and great service. The appetizer, we order garlic edamame and the salmon fried rice cake with the mango sauce, tuna carpaccio, the roll with baby scallops and one with lemon on top… and I gonna tell you, was everything 10/10, fresh with a lot of flavor! Gonna come back for sure!

The sushi lover plates are delicious. We ordered most of them and really enjoyed them. The tuna and salmon sashimi was nicely displayed with a dry ice show. However, the sashimi didn’t have that cold fresh taste though. I’m always a bit skeptical on raw fish if it’s not really cold but I didn’t have any issues. Unfortunately, one of us has a slight skin reaction to the tuna sashimi but not sure if it’s the tuna.
The service is nice and will come back to try the other non sashimi options.

Solid spot (but a little bit better) for your everyday mom/pop sushi fix – $8/4 piece sauced rolls and offerings of sashimi/nigiri.
We got 5 of the specialty rolls (yellowtail surprise, sunkist, albacore train, monster, and baked scallop) and we liked the sunkist and yellowtail the most. Baked scallop tasted a little raw to me, which is not how I’ve had baked scallop rolls in the past? Maybe just a little thrown off by that.
They also offer beer/sake, all bottled + a premium hot sake.
Would come back here! Lots to choose from – not too busy when we went on a weekday. Pretty good pricing for what you get.

At first we thought maybe since it barely had any reviews it won’t be that good. But we still went and the food was delicious. We tried four different sushi’s and all were good. Personally we liked the baked lobster a lot. And very reasonable pricing too.
