We’ve had wings, Cobb salad, pretzel bites, burgers, Patty melts, fries, TOTS … everything has been REALLY good! The fries and tots were hot and crisp; the burgers and patty melts cooked to temp (hats off, chef! ); portion sizes were generous. While I wasn’t wild about the “hot sauce” for the wings – Frank’s (?), the wings themselves were good. Order time to food delivery was quick, and prices…WHERE did that other reviewer – that referenced prices as high – eat?! And has he ever EATEN in a touristy area?! The prices were ABSOLUTELY reasonable!
The only *possible* negative is, and as other reviewers have acknowledged, attention to regulars (this is a highly “regulars” hang-out) v attention to non-regulars. “Possible”: know going in being a “wall flower” may or may not impact the timeliness in which you’re attended. (Thanks Nate and Linda, you took great care of us! )
So, in light of how good the food, portion sizes, price, and relaxed environment, level-set with yourself and don’t let service compromise the experience. Bottoms up!
They also have gluten free bread to substitute.
Definitely a must, if in snowmass!⁷
The bad, there is one server I’ve had twice that doesn’t care as much as the others, and it shows. This individual gives me and my party little attention when I need assistance. In a party of 3, i got 2 menus and 2 silverware. My party had to flag them down multiple times to get anything even though there was only 1 other table of people in the restaurant. My food and beer were empty and I waited almost 10 minutes just to be acknowledged, and when they finally noticed I needed their attention, they came and took my empty basket/drink without asking if I needed anything else when I definitely wanted another beer and a side of ranch, so I got my check and left feeling like they only are there to entertain their friends.
*update*
The individual mentioned above was working yesterday afternoon, October 5th. Same level of unprofesionalism. I sat outside for nearly 10 minutes and had to have one in my party get the guy to come outside and give us menus. After eating here multiple times, we already knew what we wanted, but the guy sets the menus down and quickly walks away. He at least took our drink orders before leaving. I asked for a side of ranch with my meal, and it didn’t come out with my food. I reiterated it to the man and waited 5 minutes to get it while I sat there watching from my table him chatting with his buddies. Myself and another party member were completely out of something to drink, so we set our empty cups at the edge of the table thinking, more like assuming, the guy would notice, but he dropped off my ranch and walked away completely ignoring our needs so I had to flag him down again before he could rush back in to his buddies. This guy could learn a thing or two from the lovely ladies who are exceptionally friendly and courteous. I feel bad for anyone that wants a good meal but has to deal with the terrible service this guy gives.
The patio is nice to sit as well.
It is down the hill a bit next to the grocery store but not too far away.
I ordered a gyro, fried pickles, and a BLT to go. Although the place was empty, I didn’t think too much of it. Unfortunately, the food was terrible when I got home. The gyro was dry, had only two small slices of tomato, and the feta cheese smelled like vomit. As a Greek person, I know how feta should taste and smell. The fries weren’t cooked properly, and the BLT tasted awful too. I tried calling the restaurant that night, but no one answered. The next day, I spoke to Nathan, who said he would speak to management and refund my credit card for $45. However, after five days, I still hadn’t received a refund. I called again, but Nathan wasn’t there so I spoke to Heather, she gave me an attitude, refused to give a refund and didn’t believe me. She offered me to eat at restaurant for free instead.
Why would I go back to a restaurant that has bad food and doesn’t believe in customer service?
I like to support local businesses but this one I can’t support.
