Sushi area is the quietest, hibachi area seems like a fun time but very loud, all food was quick and very good. Gyoza could have been a bit crisper(more brown). Was a great experience will definitely be back often.

The service at Hiro is highly attentive. Nothing was missed. The food I ordered was great (Onion Soup, Gyoza, Salmon Dragon Ball Sushi Appetizer, MR Steak, and Fried Rice). I do wish the Gyoza had a crispy bottom as it’s a pan seared item. That’s my favorite part.
I have one big critic and it’s the lighting. The sushi side has an enormous circle light above. As well as lights above each table that are sharp white. I felt on display. PLEASE can we get more intimate, warm lighting?

Went as a group of 6 and can’t wait to come back! Sushi rolls were a proper meal and delicious, calamari was fresh and battered on site from what I could tell, and the Hibachi grill was energetic and friendly. All food top notch, this is exactly what Petoskey needed

We took my sisters here for thier birthday and had an absolute blast! They tossed broccoli & saki (separately) into our mouths, lit the grill (intentionally) on fire and even had lemonade bottle squirts for the kids! They saying happy birthday with a neon sign and brought dessert out. 10/10 woud recommend!

What a great find in an area that doesn’t have a ton of Asian dining options. Hiro knocked it out of the park with their energetic and fun atmosphere and fantastic sushi and hibachi meals. They have been open only about 4 months, but they operate as if they’ve been open much longer. Better make a reservation though! Great experience and highly recommend!
