This place was extremely cute they are located on a super cute little corner in town and it was my first time there and coming around the corner seeing this small cute coffee shop was absolutely awesome. They had pretty good coffee but I think their main things are their sandwiches they had a killer BLT and i enjoyed that thing throughly it was a very good sandwich! As well as the whole vibes of the place it was sooo cute on the inside with a bit of seating for people to sit down in at the other end. They had a beautiful wall for just paintings they were selling and I was so tempted to get one since they were so beautifully drawn! Overall this place is definitely worth the drive adorable place!

I came across this lovely place while exploring Manchester-by-the-Sea, and what a hidden gem it is. The owner himself handed me my order, and we ended up having such a nice conversation. Honestly, I’d probably go back just to chat with him again—he’s incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The food and smoothie were amazing: fresh, healthy, and clearly made with quality ingredients. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by. You won’t regret it.

Local cafe with solid food and laid-back vibes.
Visited for a quick breakfast this past weekend. Being our first time in this town, it seemed like the only breakfast option apart from Dunkin. The menu offered a wide range of sandwiches and salads, and we chose the salmon bagel sandwich and the SEC croissant sandwich. Despite the cafe being bustling, we received our order within 10 minutes and enjoyed our meal at one of the patio tables outside.
The bagel sandwich and scone were fairly basic, but the sausage egg sandwich and peanut butter smoothie were enjoyable. While the food and drink menu seemed a bit pricey for the location, we definitely didn’t regret choosing this spot over the other alternative.

Yum! Good deal for a big breakfast sandwich, and tons of sweet seasonal drink options. A nice café to hang out with a small group and play board games in.

Had a wonderful experience at the Laughing Gull Café. This will be my go to spot whenever I visit Manchester by the Sea. Here is why:
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We had our hands full with our 3 small children and dog and they offered to bring out our orders to us. (Not expected at all).
Outside seating is comfortable and relaxing.
The coffee is fantastic! They know how to make a good latte here and I their coffee supplier is a fantastic selection. (I know the brand).
The atmosphere is the kind of place you want to sit down in and meet with friends or if you are alone read a book.
The food is delicious as well! I had a breakfast sandwich and they have gluten free options as well.
Overall this place is great! I highly recommend coming here and I will stop by anytime I’m in town. Check out the photos to get a sense of the space.

A lovely gem my wife and and I found as we went to Gloucester for our maternity photos. We needed a bite to eat before the shoot and I am so glad to have found this incredible cafe. The breakfast sandwiches are made fresh and are bursting with flavor with their in house bagels and other options. Additionally the smoothies are full of delicious nutrients that help you have a boost of energy from a healthy source of vitamins and nutrients. We had the reboost smoothie and really enjoyed it.
Service time was rather quick considering how busy they were. This place is an absolute must visit if you’re in the area. You will not be disappointed!

Only had coffee here but it’s top notch and they don’t give you ice worth a side of iced coffee like starbucks or dunks. I appreciate that. Everyone is super friendly and service is great.

Ordered a turkey, apple, cheddar and added Brie cheese…. Sandwich cost $10.50… this is half of it… sad amount on Brie cheese and amount of turkey for the cost…. Bread was good…. I am all for paying top dollar for a legit sandwich but this needs more filling all you can taste is the bread

Two times in a row, sandwich has NO filling, 95% bread (picture included from two different sandwiches). I would not have left the review if the sandwich wasn’t so bare and empty. Service is always painfully slow, and orders are often wrong.
