I wasn’t a huge fan of the food. The Mongolian Beef was a bit too salty and the Kung Pao was made in a different style that I’m used to. The fried rice wasn’t bad though. One plus is that the portions are massive for cheap price so it was at least very filling. The restaurant is technically take-out only but there’s some tables and chairs available.

I have to start off saying WOW this place is such a gem. This brought me back straight to the Asian-American food I grew up eating in Chicago.
Hands down the best Asian food I have had in Iowa thus far. We ordered the beef and broccoli in garlic sauce, chicken lo mein, crab ragoons and general tso. Every single item was flavorful, warm and made with love.
We will most definitely be back to try more items and I recommend anyone in Iowa to try this place.

We got take out the day before Thanksgiving. We, of course, didn’t expect much considering our timing. They were busy with orders and it took quite some time to get our order out. Again, no biggie at all. We wanted food and will not rush or belittle people who are doing us a service. Once got our food, I was SHOCKED at how good it was. When they say there is garlic….they mean GARLIC. ( we love that ) They also included free donuts for our wait. The only thing that wasn’t my favorite was the fried rice. It wasn’t as cooked as I’m used to, but that will not stop me from coming back. Good food, good service, kind people.

This has become my go to place for American Chinese cuisine. Quality food for very a reasonable price with large portions. Lady behind the counter is always friendly and attentive. Every dish has been tasty and would order again. Their steamed buns were amazing just wish it was on the online ordering for ease. Would definitely recommend to others. Look how golden that egg roll was! Pictured was orange chicken combination with crab rangoons. Enough food for 2 meals.

Unfortunately, the Mongolian beef and general tsos chicken were both inedible. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but the food was bad enough that it went uneaten and felt like a complete waste of money. I would appreciate a refund and hope this helps others avoid a similar experience.

Easily the best Chinese food around. Everything is made from scratch- not frozen premade stuff. Their dumpling sauce is addicting. And I’ve yet to have a better crab Rangoon.

The vegetable lo mein is my new favorite, and the chicken dumplings are amazing. we (2 adults) ordered 3 meals to share and will have leftovers for tomorrow and maybe even another day. the egg rolls are no joke, please you have to get them if youre an egg roll girly they are so good but also like twice the size of a normal egg roll?!? Super fast service and they even threw in donuts for us<3 will be putting this in the take out rotation in our house:)

Ordered and picked up my food. Portion sizes were amazing for the price. Quality of food also amazing. Staff at the register super nice. I’d give 10 stars if it was an option. 100% will go back – Jacob

Generally we really like ordering from here. The food tastes good and the portion size is great for the price. We usually order the combo platters. However, today when I ordered the chow mein combo, I got a call from the restaurant questioning my order and asking if I wanted to switch to lo mein. They said that chow mein does not have noodles, only the lo mein does. This was very confusing, as I’ve always known chow mein to be pan fried noodles vs the soft noodles of lo mein. I switched because I didn’t want to miss out on noodles entirely, but it’s not what I wanted to order. Everything else was good, but I’m disappointed that the menu is misleading with its names.
Edit: After more research, it seems this is a regional difference in how dishes are named. Chow mein does mean a dish without noodles in the eastern part of the US. So no hard feelings towards the restaurant, but do be cautious if what you’re wanting is fried noodles!
