The restaurant opened up about six weeks ago and is set on beautiful lake Winnisquam. The building is stunning, and the views are amazing.

We had the artisanal bread basket that had toasted, warm bread and then the seafood chowder and the brussel sprouts

For the main course, we thoroughly enjoyed the filet mignon and the spiced duck. The flavors in both of those dishes were outstanding

If you’re looking for a great place to eat, this restaurant is it! Jim, our waiter, was fantastic and kept my husband’s water filled—no small feat!

The food was amazing: the beet salad was flavorful, the scallops were perfectly cooked, and the fillet was delicious. Each dish was a treat for the eyes and taste buds.

We had an amazing experience and will be back!

The service was excellent and the hotel itself is really exquisite. The attention to detail in the architecture and appointments is truly luxurious. The dining experience, however, left something to be desired considering “The Dining Room” is advertised as a 5 star restaurant with a Michelin rated chef. AND the fact the bill ended up being >$100 per person (apps, dinner, and drinks; no dessert). I would describe the food as just okay. The brussels sprout appetizer arrived at room temperature. Our main courses followed a noticeable delay after we finished our appetizers and the table was cleared. But maybe I was just hungry and time was passing more slowly than reality… My last gripe is that the peppermint mocha martini with crushed candy cane rim arrived with no crushed candy cane rim. When questioned after the fact, we were informed they didn’t have an ingredient to make the candy cane stick to the rim. Something we should’ve been made aware of ahead of time, in my opinion. We won’t be rushing back any time soon.
