Friends got together and opened their first Delite Cafe and Deli in Hamtramck MI in 2013, through hard work, persistence, dedication and believing in our subs. We opened a second shop downtown in Wayne State University. We are now opening up our third location in Taylor MI. We have a variety of Subs, Wraps, Soup, side items, fresh smoothies, desserts, specialty coffee and more! We use Boar’s Head premium deli meats and cheeses to make our delicious sandwiches. For breakfast, try our famous croissant egg and cheese with hashbrown sandwich. Our coffee is 100% colombian freshly grinned before brewing every pot. Come in and try us, you’ll have Delite-ful Day!

I’m not really a sandwich person but this place, the food was absolutely delicious!! My honey turkey sandwich tasted amazing! It was juicy and full of flavor, not dried out. If you missing that New York flavor stop by, they don’t disappoint. And the drinks, I was not expecting it to be as good as Starbucks or 7 brew, I was surprised at how good it tasted. Will I be back most definitely!

They have a lot of variety from breakfast to lunch to dinner. I just went for the chopped cheese I seen on TikTok but after seeing their breakfast menu I’m definitely going to try something also. The bread is great and toasted. I got two regular and a spicy. The spicy is the way to go! Peppers, jalapeños and bacon and a great sauce whereas the original has ketchup and mayo. I will stick with the spicy, the different flavors make it top notch! Would have got 5 stars n food but one of my 3 sandwiches had significantly less meat than the other two. Not return and complain less but definitely could tell. But don’t let that put you off go try! Prices good and selection is awesome

Starting with a positive note… the flavor of our sandwiches was good. That said, our corned beef and pastrami Rubens were sliced way too thick, which made the meat tough. We asked for our sandwich to be extra toasted and they were barely toasted. This made them extremely soggy with the sauerkraut on them. We paid for extra meat each and even then it seemed on the low end of the 5-6 oz he said it would be. Over all, it was a disappointment.

Haven’t paid $11 for breakfast since the 1900s. A fresh smoothie and bacon egg and cheese?! Forget about it. The second time around I even got $5 off. Everytime I go and come from the airport this will be my spot! Highly recommend. Staff is always pleasant!

Tried this place for the first time!! Definitely won’t be going back!! Maybe the burgers are good but the corned beef was trash!! It deli corned beef that wasn’t even fresh.. it was tough and disgusting and let’s not add that they only gave me 2 ounces of meat!!! A wasted $34!! Dollar tree Fries were cooked in old grease!!

Always looking for the next local food spot to try when I’m in the area. This location did not disappoint! The atmosphere, the people, even the first time trying something from their menu was amazing! I even let them decide my first try, and man…. it was GOOOOODDD!!! The flavors and their chopped cheese sauce complimented perfectly with the cajun fries & while I like heat, it was not too hot for my palette and he was right, I will be back! Thank you for the first flavors!!!

Great menu options. Good prices. I ordered a hot chai tea latte and the flavor is amazing, I’d definitely order it again. I also got a vanilla caramel iced latte and an avocado egg and cheese croissant sandwich. Both very yummy, everything was made fresh for me. Newer Sandwich shoppe offering a full menu of coffee and grilled or cold subs. Very friendly and the food was good. Surprisingly not much foot traffic. We visited on a Sunday afternoon. Worth trying out. We’ll be back.
