Our company was working a job at the convention center, I wanted something easy on my stomach so we found this place. Sushi is usually my go to when my stomach is feeling icky so I was happy to see this place so close by. One of our guys doesn’t like fish so he ordered the yakitori chicken don but they were out of the chicken, they made him something different but similar with the karaage chicken so that was awesome. I ordered the seared salmon roll and wow that was amazing, I could have eaten 4 of those to my self. The vegetable tempera was also very very good. The cuts of sashimi in the bento boxes were also very good. The shrimp in the shrimp tempura upon was also perfectly crunchy. If we were to work at this convention center again I would definitely come back.

I recently visited KAS Sushi for takeout and had a pretty solid experience. The restaurant was quiet when I arrived, and although my order took longer than expected, they were kind enough to throw in some free gyoza, which was a nice touch and actually quite tasty!
The cucumber salad was a bit of a letdown – it lacked much flavor, but the rolls made up for it. I ordered an avocado roll and two specialty rolls: the Seattle roll and the Salmon Lemon roll. The rolls were large and the quality was definitely there. The standout was the Salmon Lemon roll – refreshing, light, and full of flavor. You could tell the fish was fresh, which was great!
Overall, it met my expectations for good sushi – simple, fresh, and tasty. It’s not overly creative or exceptional, but it’s solid sushi. I’d definitely return for both dine-in or takeout on my next visit to town

I couldn’t have any expectation on this place from its menu price to the interior looks of it considering where the restaurant is located.
Only if you change the perspective on food, their fish quality is great. Karaage was great too. Portion size defines the pricing as well and the overall freshness of the ingredients. I would highly recommend this place for casual sushi runs if you are nearby.
I do acknowledge that this place feels off the map as the target customer segment demands are bit different from what the restaurant is shooting for.

Welcomed right when we walked in. Amazing atmosphere, very clean. Both waitresses were attentive to us and the other diners. The food was just onpoint. The chicken karrage was cooked to perfection. Light crust and then juicy chicken when you took a bite. The spicy California roll was the right balance of spice. The Oh my roll was just delicious with the salmon, tuna, and shrimp. The Hamachi roll was just a great blend of the yellow tail and scallops. I will definitely be back to enjoy this great dining experience.

Decided to go to KAS after a convention. We got sat fast so that’s nice. One of us ordered two rolls with no avocado on both of them. Instead he got those two rolls WITH avocado and an extra roll of just avocado. She must’ve heard him wrong, it’s not her fault. After explaining he was allergic to avocado, they took the regular avocado roll back and gave him his original rolls still stuffed with avocado. They gave my other friend the wrong sushi burrito. Not a horrible experience, decent food, really nice servers. But I wouldn’t come here if you have an allergy.

The food was great, but the service was not. We were not informed that a 20% tip would be added on to our bill until after we got our check, nor was it anywhere on our menu. We did not receive 20% service, and the excuse we got from someone that was not our waitress, was that our waitress was new. I guess the menus were new, as well as the concept of signs.

Came in for lunch and got the roll special which came with a classic roll, specialty roll and a side of miso soup. I ordered the spicy tuna and godzilla rolls. I wasn’t expecting much but both rolls were pretty good! The spicy tuna had a nice kick of spice and it tasted like there was a hint of yuzu or something citrusy mixed in. They were also filled with the perfect ratio of rice to fish.
I will say the price is kinda steep compared to going somewhere like fob sushi bar where you could get more and have variety, but definitely the quality and cleanliness makes up for it!

The sushi at KAS Kitchen, Seattle is phenomenal. I could tell it was fresh and higher quality than many other sushi restaurants in the area. We placed an order to go. It was ready when promised. I asked for additional soy sauce when I picked up the order. Got a lot of pushback “soy sauce already in bag” a couple of times. I insisted and the cashier finally gave me 3 additional packets. The restaurant space itself is rather utilitarian and not terribly clean. The food makes up for this. The sashimi was thick and quite tasty. Miso soup just right (not too salty). I’d try this place again.
