Just enjoyed some the best Traditional Eggs Benedict I’ve ever enjoyed. Eggs were cooked perfectly, everything at the right temperature. Very tasty.
The server was friendly and provided great service!

The food was delicious — we had the Julian Burger and the Trio Catch of the Day. For breakfast, we tried the Avocado Toast with poached eggs and the Parfait with forest berries, along with some tasty, freshly brewed coffee. Really enjoyed the hotel overall. I’ll be coming back here in a couple of weeks for a longer stay and am looking forward to trying other dishes.

Great restaurant in a beautiful boutique hotel! The breakfast here is amazing. The eggs Benedict is a must order. The hollandaise sauce is well made and the eggs were perfectly poached. Sides are ordered separately—the breakfast potatoes are so good! Also they have a full selection of coffees. The orange juice is also very fresh.

Great evening at Julien Restaurant. They were able to get us in. Great customer service, made sure our drinks didn’t go empty. The green goddess salad was amazing. Recommend the Ribeye. Will definitely come back

Flew in yesterday from New York for a quick business meeting + lunch and my client suggested this being less than 10 mins. from the airport. This restaurant is at the far end of the lobby of The Current hotel, Autograph Collection and a Marriott property. First impression is it’s wonderful, understated chic and we were given a nice table with a great view of the pool and Tampa Bay. Staff and service on point. I believe Rafael was the one who attended to us and was also multi tasking at the same time as bartender and did pretty well balancing things. Thanks, Rafael!
We came in when they were 10 mins to closing the kitchen for breakfast and we were there for lunch so we asked for coffee first and their coffee is pretty good. As for lunch we tried the Yellowfin Tuna Crispy Wonton and was pretty good! And for entrees, we both went for the Blackened Grouper Sandwich which was delicious! Also came with fries which were pretty good. I upgraded mine to Truffle fries, enjoyed it. The only thing I’d suggest is for the kitchen to have grilled salmon or chicken or steak and not just be limited to burger, tacos and sandwiches.
Overall a productive business lunch and loved the food and the view. Pretty easy to get to and the restrooms by the lobby are also spacious and kept really clean!

My husband and I stayed at The Current, and decided to enjoy a breakfast at Julian. It was around 9 a.m. and there were 2 tables occupied, both which seemed to be close to finishing. The hostess was wonderful, sweet, and super personable. She seated us right away, got us water, and told us our server’s name and said she would be with us shortly. We then waited, and watched as 2 servers kept walking by, basically paying no attention to us. The man who was serving was not our server. The woman who was serving, came out of the kitchen a few times, glanced our way, and ignored us. Finally, she came over. We asked for coffee and she started to walk away before we could even say we were ready to order. When she brought our coffee, we made sure to place our orders. She did not ask if we wanted sweetener or cream, and we had to ask for both. She grabbed a container of sweeteners off an adjacent table and left for the kitchen, as we waited for creamer. She came out, and brought creamer to another table who was preparing to leave. We had to stop the man who serving other tables to request creamer; our coffee had already gotten cold by then.
When our food came out, we had to request butter for our toast. Our coffee cups were empty, and the server did not ask if we wanted more, even when she finally brought out the butter. As she walked by the table, I had to stop her and ask for coffee once again.
The food itself was delicious, well-prepared and presented.
The presentation of the bill, in a cigar box, seemed ostentatious and unnecessary. Unfortunately, there are not many choices for breakfast close by, so unless you have a car and are willing to drive, you’re stuck with this place.
I could understand if the restaurant had been busy. But when we left, it was only us and another table. The server left a poor impression on us and the restaurant in general.

We were a group of 10 with reservations to celebrate New Year’s at Julian’s Restaurant. We picked the set menu for the night. It was awful. Appetizers were not included. The scallops were ok with foam potato puree and a beurre Blanc. However, the main dish was supposed to be a filet mignon. After we all ordered, we were informed that the filet mignon was not available. Instead we were served a mystery meat that was supposed to be a rib eye. Keep in mind that this is a small restaurant and it was a set menu for $95 per person. We were extremely disappointed. Service was good and cordial. We were not charged the decorking fee.

First off the service was perfect. Our wait staff was pure perfection. The restaurant was beautiful. And our appetizer was perfect. They also had a tasty non alcoholic beer that I could enjoy.
Unfortunately I cannot give a perfect experience because my steak bites were too tough to eat. They were also lacking flavor.
My wife’s burger was also unseasoned and bland.
I do not think I would come back for a second try. With the costs of the meals this really is a one chance deal. I could get an equivalent meal half the price at other places.

. The aroma of sizzling shrimp and creamy grits filled the air as I stepped into the charming breakfast haven. The warm, inviting ambiance set the stage for a delightful morning. With anticipation, I ordered the signature shrimp and grits, a dish that promised to tantalize my taste buds.
As the plate arrived, my eyes widened with delight. A mound of golden grits, studded with plump, succulent shrimp, was artfully arranged. Each shrimp, perfectly cooked, exuded a subtle spice that danced on my palate. The grits, creamy and comforting, provided the ideal canvas for the flavorful shrimp.
With each bite, I was transported to a culinary heaven. The combination of textures and flavors was simply divine. The shrimp, tender and juicy, complemented the rich, cheesy grits flawlessly. The subtle spice added a delightful kick, elevating the dish to new heights.
As I savored the last morsel, I couldn’t help but smile. This breakfast experience was more than just a meal; it was a culinary journey that left me feeling satisfied and content.
