Above average TexMex. Taco salad was soupy, even after taking out most of the sour cream that came on top. Fajitas and enchiladas were about what one would expect. Wait staff was responsive.

Second time here, everything was great first time. Forward to today my meal was great! My husband received chicken instead of the brisket burrito. He doesn’t eat chicken so that was disappointing. Was busy at time so service was a little slower tonight. I will be back though!!

Been here two times! Great service both times and loved every dish we tried! Guacamole is a great price! Wonderful place to sit, relax, enjoy chips, salsa and guacamole with a friend. Currently, they offer 2 margaritas on ice for free per person. If you like frozen, stop first at the Margarita Hut and bring it with you to Sophia’s. Don’t order your meal right away, they bring your order quite quickly! Looking forward to going again.

Sophia’s is Delicious! My wife and I go there once a week. The salsa is top notch, service is impeccable and everything is really clean as far as I can tell. I always get the Sunset spicy fajitas. The meat is as tender as I’ve had anywhere for fajitas. Trying lots of different things is how I usually roll, but I can’t get over the deliciousness of these fajitas. My wife usually gets something different every time, and she has always been happy with her order.

I will never go to this establishment again! My sister was in town from Colorado and wanted some good Tex-Mex. Queso was pretty good and the staff were very nice. Each of our meals were very bland and tasteless. My fish tacos were the worst I’ve tasted. Now, fast forward about 12 hours and my sister felt sick to her stomach BUT my best friend’s husband was violently ill for 3 days! It could only be explained as food poisoning! Awful! I would NEVER recommend this new restaurant to anyone!

I came in here at 11:30am and ordered coffee, a burrito and chicken nuggets for my kid. The coffee tasted like cough syrup with water and motor oil mixed in. It was possibly the worst coffee I’ve ever had.
I waited 20 minutes and my food hadn’t come out. There were only 2 other tables with people sitting at them. I asked my waitress where my food is and she said it’s coming. I waited another 5 minutes and gave up and left. How it can take an empty Mexican restaurant more than 2 minutes to make a burrito is beyond me.
No apology, no acknowledgement that I waited a half hour and never got any food, no explanation for where my food was or why it was taking so long. They just let me leave just like that.

I don’t understand how this place is rated so highly. The food really is subpar. I feel like if you’re really a fan of Tex-Mex you wouldn’t enjoy this place. People rate the service positively but I can’t say I had the same experience. We came during a fairly slow time and somehow of the 4 groups that came in(we were 2nd), we got our orders and food last. Which was odd because we signaled we were ready within 5 minutes of being there when they came to get our drink order. I only suggest this if you’re willing to wait long for eh food because you’re starving which is honestly the only reason we didn’t walk out. But we almost went to sonic instead which I would recommend to anyone instead of this.

My family and I have been visiting Sophia’s for almost as long as they have been open. Have there been growing pains? Yes, but the food was good, the staff friendly, and the few people I personally told to try it out have become regular visitors too. I personally love the tacos pastor and the fajitas as entrees. The queso is amazing. I look forward to trying something new each week when we visit. They are currently BYOB but with The Margarita Hut and LE Crafthouse next door who cares. Love this place and their employees.

The table was very sticky and there was salsa on our menus. We asked our wait staff if we could sample a small spoon of soup they had on the menu she said… “let me see if we can do that, we will have to microwave a small sample from the fridge”. WHAT! I THOUGHT THE SOUP WAS FRESH!? We couldn’t imagine what the food was going to be like so we got up and left, after paying for our drinks
