Top Notch Bakery. I literally tried everything on the menu minus the coffee and everything was unique and packed full of flavor. The head baker even took the time to collaborate with me on my favorite bakery item a “Cherry Chocolate chip Muffin”. She was able to put her creative spin on my favorite and nailed a perfect creation of this treat. Their petite quiche and breakfast sandwich are both spectacular. Honestly everything I had was amazing so much so I visit here even in the winter and I am a customer for life. Overall this is a top 3 bakery I’ve visited in the United States, I highly recommend trying the cherry chocolate muffin 😉

We stopped by Brewed Awakening yesterday on our way to Warrensburg, and it was such a treat! The customer service was absolutely top-notch! Super friendly, welcoming, and genuine. You can tell they really care about their customers.
We ordered croissants and pastries, and they were everything you want from a bakery buttery, flaky, and fresh out of the oven. The almond pastry had the perfect balance of sweetness, and the cherry danish was melt-in-your-mouth good. BUT those croissants are out of this world!!
If you’re ever passing through, make this place a stop on your trip. Great pastries, amazing atmosphere, and even better people.

My son and I stopped in here early on a Saturday morning when passing through. We ordered the ham and cheese croissant sandwiches, a latte, and several sweets to go! Everything was delicious!! And I would hands down choose this local establishment over that big chain coffee shop. If you’re passing through – stop in and check this place out.

I try to stop by here every time I’m traveling through. Always a great experience! The coffee is superb. The pastries delicious and the bread amazing. Beyond that the service is always excellent and the people very friendly. The owners were there today..we stopped in just before closing..and enjoyed a quick visit with them. Such a pleasant part of our trip that we look forward to anytime we head south. 🙂

Food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We all had wraps and they were unique (pesto, southwest, curry chicken salad) and so good and fresh! Cookies (apple butter snicker doodle, toffee coffee, gingerbread) were amazing- great taste and perfectly chewy. The staff really made this place stand out though, the girls there were so sweet! We will definitely come back again ❤️

Well, visiting Missouri, I was finding in a challenge to find healthy, delicious food. We stumbled upon this amazing café that far exceeded my expectations for what I was hoping to encounter.
Apple chicken cranberry wrap that was moist had an amazing flavor. Profile crunch was outstanding.
My friend had a chicken curry salad sandwich on a fresh bake croissant that was also out of this world.
They have fresh bread and treats, and this is the best meal I’ve had while here in Missouri.
You Definitely need to come check this place out. You will not be disappointed!

A friend brought me a blueberry muffin last week from this place. She’s been raving about Brewed Awakenings for weeks. I wasn’t super hungry but to appease my friend I tried it. I was blown away! It had the perfect amount of blueberry, the perfect softness, the perfect amount of light crisp at the top. The flavor was 10/10.
I’ve been back to Brewed Awakenings 7 times in a little over a week now. That’s how hooked I am. I’ve had hot teas, coffee cake, carrot cake, sooo many different pastries and desserts and then I finally had a chance to try their lunch menu.
If their sweets aren’t enough to keep you coming back, their small but mighty lunch menu is sure to. I first had the bbq chicken wrap. I’ve never had a better wrap in my life. Ever. The bbq has just enough spice to it but not too much (I’m not a fan of spicy, so this was just the right amount). The homemade coleslaw is just enough crunch. The chicken is quality, made in-house, juicy, tender, and soooo good.
By now I’ve had all three lunch items and I’m telling you, you can’t go wrong with any of them.
This place tops my list of favorite dessert/lunch places at the lake. I’m telling you there isn’t a place within 100 miles with better, quality, fresher items on the menu.
The service here is the icing on the cake. You can order online and the food is ready as soon as you arrive. If dining in is your thing, they have spacious cafe-style seating. Parking is plentiful and this place is pretty easy to find (right off “Camdenton Square”).
