Without doubt the best bbq I’ve ever had from a food truck !!! It honestly competes with some of the restraints I’ve been too here in town. They had some of the best brisket I’ve ever had, so tender and fresh. The sauces they have are good as well. I will absolutely try this place out again when I find myself nearby

Asked for a mix of fatty/lean brisket. The fattier brisket was a little tough and dry. The brisket quesadilla was recommended by Google reviews, but it was a mushy mess, and dripped grease. The BBQ is excellent. This food truck sits outside a nice-looking bar, where you must purchase your sodas. It’s nice inside, but would feel weird for those who don’t visit bars.

WOW! We’ve grown up around street tacos as well as barbecue, including brisket, but have never had the two combined. What a combination. After looking for a barbecue place in San Antonio and coming across the picture of the brisket street tacos, we knew we had to try them. Drove two hours from Austin and they were worth the drive. Great food, great owner, very friendly, and good portion size as well. Can’t wait to go back for more. If any of the other menu items include the same brisket used in the street tacos, try them, you will not be disappointed. Oh! Definitely give the beans a shot as well if you like beans, they were amazing and even better when you add some salsa.

I was not expecting barbecue with this level of quality out of a food truck! And talking about a food truck, their food truck is sparkling clean, when you go up to pay take a picture of the window, the place is freaking spotless, I worked in restaurants many years myself and I know this is very hard to do, so I give this place a lot of kudos for running such a tight ship , … And the food? The brisket was cooked to perfection, and the mac and cheese is very well done, not clumpy, not dry, you can taste the real cheese in there, I am definitely going to be coming back often, if you feel like having some barbecue, do not go somewhere else, this is the spot! And also they actually put the mac and cheese or brisket on top of aluminum foil so that it doesn’t touch the styrofoam, this is awesome! Because when you put something hot on top of the styrofoam it releases very bad carcinogens, so I give them huge kudos for that as well!

I went on my lunch break for the famous brisket grilled cheese. Very disappointed. It was so soggy that I couldn’t even eat it like a sandwich. Very small serving of brisket, or more like chopped bbq, less brisket, definitely not worth the money.

We’re from out of town and wanted to try some local foods. Blues Pit BBQ did not disappoint. We had several items and every one was spot on.
Brisket quesadilla, brisket grilled cheese, street tacos and the Jazz wrap, all of them were delicious.
The gentleman at the window was engaging, friendly and made the entire experience fun.
We will definitely be stopping by here for BBQ when we travel through here again.

My Partner and I were in awe of how amazing the food was from here! We both had a craving for BBQ, so we decided to look up the best BBQ spots near us. He ordered the sausage link and the brisket chop sandwich. I ordered the quesadilla with brisket and enjoyed every last bite. BBQ in general can be expensive, but at this food truck you are getting your moneys worth. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already. Now more than ever it’s important to support local businesses. Next paycheck, we will be back!
