Had a late breakfast here. Food was good and cooked as ordered, 2eggs over easy, 2 sausage patties, hash browns, toast. Eggs were jumbos, sausage was tasty and cooked perfectly. Service was also good, and food came out in a timely manner. Would have given 4 stars except the following: LOUD Rock music coming from the kitchen, I like rock, but not loud, and not while I’m trying to have a relaxing breakfast. Place could use a decor update, I feel like it was clean, just didn’t appear as clean as it could have with a little paint and upholstery.

My husband and I had an amazingly big breakfast here yesterday. The blueberry pancakes were excellent! Can’t wait to go back! Great food, good taste in tunes & awesome customer service! Keep up the great work!

Love this place, and the people! If something isn’t as you liked, they make it right. Everyone is down to earth, and friendly. It is always clean, and inviting. My husband, and family is from Detroit, and feels very at home when eating here. Very authentic Coney Island food.

Both of us had gyros. My husband liked his. I did not care for mine at all. I found the meat dry and the sauce very inauthentic. No cucumber taste at all. I much prefer the picket pita as well this was just too much not needed bread. Also it was rather dry, not fresh. The entire place needs a through cleaning and repairs. Not a place I would go out of my way to revisit.

The Coney is the best place in town for great food and a smile, the staff is always respectful and eager to assist.
In response to the negative comment below. I was their waitress until I had the owner take over because the gentleman ordered a salad, I never fully set it on the table before he said he didn’t want it and never mentioned a bug until he was asked to pay for what he ordered as their was nothing wrong with the salad. It was the gentleman who threatened to call the police which we offered him to do so. He declined… I always make sure to visit the Coney Island when I am in town and love the friendly atmosphere. As well as the owners and staff!

The food was bad, the steak omelette tasted like iron, and my drink had black garbage floating in it. The owner had a problem with me ordering food right away, and throughout my entire stay, talked about how certain people should should be killed or left to die. If that wasn’t enough, my bill was added up wrong and 12$ was added onto it. She “accidentally did her math wrong.” I said nothing to her in person, I feel her potential customers should hear about this instead. Coming from a respectable, white businessman, get your act together lady. I want to see your business fail just for how you talked about others and your lack of compassion for other humans, besides whites.

Terrible, awful and rude. Food is not good enough or worth the abuse you have to take from the staff. The owner, the “mom” is the most awful woman on the planet and should definitely NOT be allowed to interact with the public. My family returned to this restaurant multiple times because they loved coney islands and missed them so much when moving north, but they will no longer be returning because of the repeated miss treatment again and again by the owner of this establishment.

Haven’t been here in many years. Thought we would try again. Came in through the back door and walked through what should have been their private back room. Restaurant was dirty but the service was good. Food and prices were good.

Good old fashioned diner. I have eaten here for many years! Most of the bad reviews are from down state imported people who bring their big city way and bad attitudes with them..I haven’t seen any of the problem described in their ratings!!! MOVE BACK TO THE SOUTH WHERE YOU BELONG!! If you can’t say nothing good, don’t say nothing at all!!!

This restaurant is now in Waters at the old Hilltop Restaurant. I had the misfortune of having breakfast there. They think the sky is the limit but are in for a rude awakening. The hours will be determined by the cash register and the female owner is RUDE! The bacon was microwaved and the hash browns were MASHED!!! Should be interesting to see how long the doors will be open.Drive to town for breakfast.
