This is a very nice local chain of brunch restaurants. I like their chicken fried steaks and their corned beef. My wife loves their biscuits and gravy. The patty melt is excellent and the fries are crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The staff had always been friendly and personable.

The food here is great I’ve never had a bad experience. Its always been decently crowded when we’ve come in and usually were seated fairly quickly. Highly recommend the HOTG Benedict its a go too. The biscuits and gravy are also really good.

Just the place I stumbled onto one day while going to the bank at Wells Fargo. Even though you really can’t see into the place I was more than pleased when I walked in for the welcoming atmosphere within. The interior is very clean and well-kept with an open kitchen that is visible for all to see. They also offer outside dining in a nice setting. Everything that I’ve ordered their tastes great and it’s freshly made and on the plus side they offer peanut butter to put on my French toast which is the way I’ve always loved it since I was a kid. Not many places off of that. And on the side note the fragrance of the men’s bathroom takes me back to when I was a child of the scent of the talcum powder that they use at the barber shop when I got my first haircut. I know that sounds funny but it’s amazing how a certain scent can take you back years I’m 55 now and it just transported me back in time. Overall I’m sure you will enjoy the food and the atmosphere at Hot off The griddle. Sincerely Fred Shumake

I would give Hot off the Griddle in Rocklin a zero star ⭐️ if I could. I have never had to leave a restaurant because of no service. We waited way longer than what we were told initially. Once we got in and sat down no one came to ask if we wanted any drinks/water. When we first sat down there were plenty of tables open but the staff were too busy filling the tables with customers than asking if we wanted drinks/food….I noticed we were not the only ones without drinks and still waiting as well. Because we had such a long wait to be seated we already knew what we wanted to order but unfortunately that never happened. No one ever came to even take our order. As we got up and left I told the waitress sorry we are not waiting anymore… her response was “have a nice day”! This place is not organized, not enough staff. (We saw only 2 waitresses)
Definitely would not recommend or be returning. Wish our experience had been different.

Five stars all around, from the waitress greeting me as “Darlin'” to the sight of my mimosa, I felt like it would be good. Then I saw that their sausages are homemade, and my goodness they are good. Regulars popping in left and right, which is always a good sign and the couple next to me was on their second visit, so they came back for a reason. Loved it!

We’ve visited the Rocklin location to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent and the place was very clean. They also have early morning specials before 8:00 where you can have breakfast for just $6.49! All three of us had a memorable meal and we were stuffed when we left there!

I found my new favorite place for breakfast. The egg Benedict was amazing, and the biscuits with gravy were perfect. Unfortunately, idk the waitresses’ name, but she was awesome. Will be back on my next cheat day.

It’s hard to find good places to eat when traveling, as you don’t always know the area or good places to stop. Decided to take a chance and stop by here for a quick bite a month ago. So glad I did! Did it again today to fuel up my bones with some of their awesome breakfast! Their pancakes and bacon are full of flavor. And OMG the coffee is the bomb. Nice little outdoor patio on beautiful days such as today. They are the most friendly and polite group of people! Will be back again when passing through!
