We placed a delivery order for a 40-piece wing pack on the day of the IU/Oregon game. The quoted delivery time was 30–45 minutes. We fully expected it to run longer given the game and high demand—but three hours is beyond unacceptable.
Our delivery driver arrived early and waited at the store for three full hours while Wingstop staff repeatedly told him they did not have our order or that it had been lost due to the volume of orders. After all of that waiting, we never even received our order.
What makes this even worse is that the order confirmation email instructs customers to call the store to cancel or modify an order. That would be helpful—if their phone actually worked. Wingstop Carmel does not answer calls or accept them at all. As a result, I was unable to cancel the order or receive a direct refund from the store.
I have now been forced to contact corporate and wait for a resolution because the local store is unreachable and incapable of fixing its own mistakes. Between the lost order, the three-hour wait, and receiving no food at all, this was one of the worst food delivery experiences I’ve ever had.
Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—order literally anywhere else.
It felt as though they were trying to stretch their product, diluting it. After this experience, I think I will never eat another wings again I feel sick.
