Mirchi – A Must-Try for Biryani Lovers!
We finally made it to Mirchi, an Indian restaurant we’ve been wanting to try! We actually missed their introductory offer last Tuesday, but luckily, we had another chance to grab some biryani today – and we’re so glad we did!
The biryani was incredibly good. The flavors were top-notch, perfectly spiced and incredibly aromatic. You can tell they put a lot of care into their cooking. We’ll definitely be back for more

I want to take some time and write my review!!!
I was a bit frustrated with the delay of my order. But,after having my biryani i would say this is the best satibabu biryani i had in early times( actually after India). Even with the promotion they have not compramised on the taste / quality. Hope this taste will be forever.
Apart of a little extra oil , rest everything was excellent. Will surely see you soon again.

We were very disappointed with the food. It contained excessive food coloring and oil in many of the dishes. The pricing seems misleading, as the portions were quite small. Most biryanis had a similar flavor to the rice. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

Mirchi really hits the spot if you’re hungry for Indian food that feels both authentic and comforting. The vibe inside is relaxed and welcoming, and service is usually friendly and quick. What really makes Mirchi stand out is their chicken dum biryani. The rice comes out aromatic, the chicken is cooked just right, and every bite is loaded with spice and flavor, it’s honestly tough to find a better one nearby. They have the best dum biryani in town. Outside of the biryani, the menu is loaded with other tasty options, from crispy dosas to bold curries, and the portions are generous. It may not be a super fancy place, but the food consistently delivers, and the prices are solid for the quantity you get. If you’re a biryani fan or just looking for a no-nonsense spot with great Indian flavors, Mirchi is an easy pick in Alpharetta.

I ordered dal tadka and jeera rice both were full of onions. It’s like onion tadka and onion rice. Totally disappointed.

This should be the only review you read. Honestly. A huge chunk of the 5-star reviews look like they were written by people who’ve clearly never stepped foot anywhere near this place — some don’t even seem to live in the same country, judging by their profiles. Truly impressive global devotion for a local restaurant.
Meanwhile, every single 1-star review gets slapped with a “FAKE” reply from the owner, like criticism is a mythical creature they refuse to believe exists.
And the best part? There are zero actual mid reviews — just suspicious worship or pure frustration. After posting this, I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner suddenly “discovers” a fresh batch of totally normal, definitely-not-suspicious 3-star reviews too.
My advice? Even if this is your last option on the planet, skip it. Hunger fades. Regret doesn’t.

Tried biryani in different places around here and felt none of them were really authentic dum, but mirchi did. Tried their dum and boneless biryani it was really good and feels like the best in the town. This place is cozy and staff are friendly. Would definitely visit again to try different items in the menu.

I contacted this restaurant while planning my son’s birthday party and was ready to place an order of around $700 across six different dishes. Before finalizing, I asked if we could do a tasting. I was told that I would have to order and pay for regular portions of each dish just to taste them.
For such a large planned order, I expected more flexibility or at least small tasting samples, which most restaurants usually provide for party or catering inquiries. Instead, the discussion became argumentative, which was very disappointing.
If you’re considering this place for a big event, just know that they do not provide tastings unless you pay for full portions of each item.

I wish I had an option for zero stars. I took chicken biryani and it was disgusting. It was just plain rice and few pieces of chicken on top and that too it smells awful. I also ordered Andhra chicken curry which was another horrible experience. We literally trashed it..when I called to complain they said this is what we serve and never got complain and said they don’t do refunds or credits. Such a poor customer service. Not recommended never ever going back..its not a fake review I can show my proof of purchase
