I saw this hot dog stand at the corner of a busy Downtown street while in Anchorage and thought to myself that I had to try a hot dog from Red Umbrella Reindeer. Unfortunately I didn’t order the famous Spicy Reindeer Sausage but I did order the Louisiana Hot Link hot dog, and it was delicious! The gentleman working was very friendly and the service was great. The hot dog stand had a lot of different sauces and condiments available to accompany your hot dog. Everything seemed to be clean and there was a small park-like area near the stand to sit and enjoy your food. Recommend this, thank you!

I had the regular reindeer hotdog, juicy, smokey, just the right amount of pepper / spice – so good.
I was hesitant at first (as I’m not a huge hotdog lover), but a few locals recommended we try them & so glad we did! Good price, friendly service too.

The best reindeer meat I had while in Alaska came from this cart (and trust me, I ate a lot of reindeer sausage)! You absolutely have to say yes to the onions. The owner is super friendly and we ended up coming back right before leaving town to just to have a second reindeer dog from red umbrella!

First time in my life that I’ve Ever gotten a Glizzy from a hot dog stand. I smelled it while driving past and couldn’t help but to stop and grab two! Man oh man, let me tell you guys! they were so delicious I didn’t even get to take a picture before I slammed them down!

One of the best little umbrella stands in Anchorage. Mr. Abdullah serves a mean “dog”! Menu includes, Reindeer, Polish, Bratwurst, Louisiana Hotlink and Good old American Beef. Cold drinks and chips on the side make for a perfect hot meal on a cold day!
