This is by far the best sushi place i have ever been to. Everything was fresh and you could tell that the man making it is a master of his craft. You can taste the passion that he puts into the dishes. I ended up ordering twice because the food was just that spectacular. Makes me wish I wasn’t just visiting the area and that I lived down the block because I would eat here everyday if possible. The portions you get for the price is unbeatable as well

On all my travels I stop at a least one sushi place and this was the worst one I’ve ever had. Got a salmon skin roll and had one piece only. Inedible. Salmon skin roll with no salmon but actual the skin of the fish. Never seen that before. Correct me if I’m wrong but no restaurant actually uses the skin of the salmon despite the name. They need to change their recipes. The service was fine, quick and attentive which is why 1 star.

Overall good. Small place most seating is outside on a slightly sloped patio. The prices are a little higher but overall the sushi was quality the rolls were a little sloppy. The staff was professional and things look clean.

We love Japanese food and wanted to try this spot with great view. We know this area but have never been at this place before.
The food was good. Rolls were great, we enjoyed it a lot.
We loved the miso soup as well.
I noticed that the interior is much better than most Japanese restaurants around. It’s nice and stylish.
Recommend the special rolls and beautiful view and nice service.

My daughter and I went here the other day for lunch, and we can’t say enough great stuff about this fabulous Japanese restaurant! The food was super tasty and made fresh to order. The service was prompt and courteous. Right on the Hudson River was great ambiance and very comfortable and relaxing. The owner is seems to be a real gentleman. We are already planning to make this a regular restaurant and can’t wait to go back soon.

BEST SUSHI IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! Live in Newburgh my whole life and have tried sushi everywhere but here AMAZING TO DIE FOR!!! If you haven’t gone go and try ANY of their signature rolls i personally had the Akasaka Roll and omg i can’t even explain how delicious it was the place is a little small but it has a little cute patio to it with an amazing river view it’s definitely a place to go plus they had so many take out orders i was impressed

The food is exceptional. I dont eat seafood but there’s still enough for me to choose from, and it’s all done with great care. According to the rest of my family the sushi is very good, esp. the boom boom roll.
Unfortunately the wait staff has been hit or miss. Doesn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves though. We go back often.

This was a stop on a two week long road-trip. Have I had better sushi? Yes. Is this the worst? definitely not. I’m lucky enough to have my favorite sushi really close to my house, so I am used to being a little disappointed, but this place makes up for it with its service and location. We had a lovely lunch overlooking the Hudson.
