Food was delicious! The owner even stepped out of the kitchen to announce our friend’s retirement (which we were celebrating) and another person’s birthday.
Fries chicken- Soooo Good! Their chicken n dumplings are SO good – they ran out of them!
Atmosphere – family friendly, lots of laughter, family and friend conversations!!!

Great atmosphere, friendly server but he was in the kitchen most of the time. We were there on the 2nd day they were open so I’m sure they are continually improving but the prices are extremely high for what you get. A burger was $13 and small. It was good but not filling. The menu does not give you many choices. The pickle fries were awesome but again not many of them.

I used to live in Millstadt and we were in town for the weekend. I saw online where the Farmer’s Inn had reopened under new ownership. The reviews were mixed but quite a few were positive about the fried chicken, and I had been really craving some good fried chicken so we decided to try it.
Well I hate to say it but I’m still craving some good fried chicken.
There were 3 of us. I and my boyfriend ordered the fried chicken, a breast and a wing, and 2 thighs, and our friend ordered the double cheeseburger. The breast looked good but the wing and thighs were tiny. The thighs appeared to be undercooked and when my boyfriend asked our server about it she said it was just the vein and was fine. The majority of the breast meat was so tough I couldn’t even chew it and had to spit it out. The onion rings, which also got good reviews, were not good at all. The only thing I ate were the green beans and mashed potatoes; both were pretty tasty. And our friend said her double cheeseburger was delicious, so reviews on that were on point.
The atmosphere was just ok but the building’s interior and exterior could use a little renovation. It’s a shame because it’s an old historic place that could be really nice. Overall it was a huge disappointment and we won’t be back.

We was very disappointed in the food&service. We ordered the steak&shrimp. it was over an hour wait, for our food & no shrimp, no butter for our baked potatoes. We both ordered med.steaks, mine was way over done&dry. When we brought it to the waitresses attention, how long we had waited for our food & how unsatisfied we where with the food, nothing was said or done, but I am sorry. Many times we have eaten at farmers Inn, this was our first time, under the new owners. Very sad to say, but for sure, will be our last.

The fish was cold an over cooked and fries were cold. The bread was dried out couldn’t even make a sandwich it just fell to pieces. This was on a Friday night. I had stopped in for lunch 2 weeks prior to that and had the exact same meal and it was excellent 5 stars. Very disappointed on Friday night visit 1 star on food

1 hour and 20 minutes wait for 6 tacos (on Taco Tuesday!!??) and one turkey wrap. Ridiculous. Table of 4 who’d arrived at least 15-20 minutes AFTER us received all four of their orders including burgers, fries, chicken cordon bleu, asparagus15 minutes before our 6 tacos and a turkey wrap were delivered. Asked for a manager- never bothered to come out. Food was delicious once it finally came out- people were leaving without eating- waiting more than 10 minutes just to get their drink tickets to cash out once they overheard our waitress mention we’d waited nearly an hour and a half for 6 tacos and a cold wrap. Wish they wouldn’t advertise on FB if they don’t have adequate staff- as we were told last Taco Tuesday was a similar disaster. Our server Amy was very sweet and tried to hurry things along as best she could under the circumstances.

Very disappointing. 5 of us went to dinner. Extremly slow service!! Incorrect item were served. The cod fish and fries were good. But the rest of the food was not that good. Took 45 minutes to get served. We were the second table in the back. Should NOT have taken near as long as it did.

Great selection on menu, food is really good. A little pricey and service is not always great. I have only been twice. First time, the waitress was horrible and took a long time to get our food. Second time, service was better.

It was a Saturday around 6 PM. We walked in and was quickly greated and told to sit any where. Shortly we were greated and gave our dri nk order. We both ordered water. Thats when all went down hill from there. 10 minutes to order. We ordred tacos and a cheese burger. Easy order. 30 minutes later we asked if our order is about ready. We were told they would start our order in 10 minutes. We left without eating. Had we been told ahead of time that there was a backup, we probably wouldnt have wasted all the time we did. Im not one for excuses. Poor service is just that. Enough said.
