Authentic. Local. Delicious. Kalua pork and shoyu chicken lunch plate. Adobo pork lunch plate and Huge Moco Loco plate. Hotcakes for the kids. Went here are the Lighthouse trail hike at sunrise. Worth it.

Local plate lunch place. Have tried the kalua pork, pork adobo, and pork squash (squash was a special, not a regular item), was all great, and cheap too.
Entrance to the place is inconspicuously tucked into the corner. They have some tables and chairs setup outside, but as an alternative, just down the road is Hunananiho campsite and Waimanalo Beach, nicer to go eat there.

Super fast and fantastic food! This is, by far, the best Hawaiian lunch plates we have had. We got kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, bbq chicken, pork adobo, shoyu chicken, mini loco moco, Hawaiian omelette, and a couple cheeseburgers. All of the meats had their own distinct flavors and similar dishes like teriyaki and bbq were very different and stood on their own. Each time we’ve been here we ordered six dishes and they came out within about ten minutes. I will absolutely be eating here every time we’re in Waimanalo.

No dine in, no tables, no other staff. Just yummy breakfast plates and plate lunches. They do take card but we paid cash. No bathrooms. The shopping center has chairs and tables aligning the store fronts. Ordering is super easy. The pancakes were really really yummy and the kalbi was delicious. Great for grab and go

Run to this place, do not walk, don’t look at anywhere else to eat, just go. Super fast and friendly service. A two meat plate, rice, macaroni salad and a drink was only $12 and it was enough for two people. It may look a little rundown, but get over the looks and pay attention to the deliciousness of this place!

Best Hawaiian plate I’ve ever had in my entire life. We’re all sitting here after eating
and planning on coming back for breakfast. Authentic and inexpensive.

So here’s the thing, this place is literally a hole in the wall. You can tell locals are the only ones who go here. I got a “cheeseburger” for like $3 and it’s what I expected. They didn’t have buns and I said sandwich bread was fine. My sister ordered the Chicken Teriyaki plate which seemed like the better option (and had more to it). I think I messed up and should’ve just gotten the plate and read the reviews better. Definitley just a takeout spot but it’s in a beautiful location.
I think I’d have to come back and try it again? But it is really just well priced and that’s about it.
