I went in between lunch and dinner and had the place almost to myself. The waiters were exceptionally nice. After I got to choose my table, I was brought chips, salsa and a bean dip with chorizo. Delicious!
They took my order for a custom burrito with shredded beef, beans and cheese. It came fairly quick and was a big burrito. The beef was tender, and the tortilla was grilled (bien dorada) the way I like it. And the price for my burrito was good.
I’ll be visiting this place every time I come to town.

The restaurant offers a lively and vibrant atmosphere, its creative interior design making it an inviting and energetic space for both patrons and staff. The waiter was extremely polite and gave us ample time to make our food choices, which was greatly appreciated. However, although the service was good, it took quite some time for our food to arrive – we waited for almost two hours. Regarding the food itself, it was a bit disappointing as many dishes were meat-heavy with very little vegetables. Overall, the restaurant has room for improvement in terms of food quality and speed of service.

We had lunch today at Sahuayo’s, the food was delicious, full of flavor. I had caldo de res , with rice and beans on the side. My husband had huevos divorciados. Loved the fresh made corn and flour tortillas. The cafe con canela was very yummy.

Honestly, this place is just okay, more of a backup option when other spots are packed. The customer service is average, they don’t really check in on you, and the sodas are always way too carbonated. The biggest downside, though, is the smell when you walk in it has a strong bathroom odor that’s hard to ignore, which makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen.

I’ve been coming here for years; the food is great and never misses. However, the service is always lacking, if you’re on any type of time constraints, do not come here. My mom loves their Caldo de Res and my dad enjoys their menudo, so we always return in hopes that service has improved, but sadly it doesn’t. The servers look like they don’t even want to be here, and for the most part forget about you. Took them almost 30 minutes to bring us more chips, and once they drop off the food order, your non-existent to them. Even retrieving the check is a task. Management definitely needs to look into their service procedures.

Food was okay overall, but the service was horrible! They’d come to our table once every 30 minutes and then roll their eyes when you asked for something. Torta Cubana was very good but the menudo was nasty at best. We used to love this place but now it’s the last place we’d go. Honestly Nena’s has bad service too, but at least the atmosphere is good. We will just stick to Don Luis.

Fantastic service, the restaurant was super clean and very calming. I felt comfortable around the employees and talking to them. They always responded with a positive and respectful tone. I’d recommend coming here for a first with family or friends!!!
