I never had a bad meal from the original spot and they don’t disappoint in the Howell spot either!! My husband had his normal fare of ribs, Mac and cheese. Fall off the bone tender. I tried the chicken wings with cheese potatoes. I love their potatoes. They always cook my wings the way I like them, which I can never get others to do. The Doc is in and he ain’t playing!! Parking lot available, but handicap is very limited. Restrooms clean. They have a wonderful bar with great liquor selection. Staff outstanding.

Had an amazing meal at The Smoke Doctor in Howell! I tried the Brisket and a Rib from the Bloody Mary Extravaganza and they were fantastic. I was told the Bloody Mary was perfect! The Cobb Salad with Smoked Chicken was absolutely delicious. If you’re anywhere near Howell, this place is definitely worth a stop! Reasonably priced, seriously good BBQ!

Great service, excellent smoked meat! Had the brisket grilled cheese, smoked wings (amazing) and the sampler so I could try everything. All the meat was excellent but the sids need a LOT of work… the loaded potatoes had instant potatoes taste and texture was very dry. The Mac n cheese was boxed tasting. That’s the only reason for the 4 stars. With this being a new restaurant, I know things are still in the works and I know they’ll do great!

First time here at The Smoke Dr. in Howell. The Brisket and the Pulled Pork Dinners were great and the Hot BBQ sauce was warm and very flavorful. The Carolina sauce very yummy as well. The best part was, we have been looking for Gluten Free places to eat and found it here. Dr. Smoke stopped by our table and welcomed us and appreciated our coming. We will be back for sure! Finally, thanks Justyne for great service!!

We have been waiting for a good bbq place to open up in Howell for a while… we were excited it was The Smoke Doctor!! We have had their food via Carry out before and loved it! We dined in today for an early dinner and right away we were greeted excitedly, we were told all the good choices to make by the waiter. Our waiter was super friendly and talkative, he answered all our questions. We got our food quick! Let me just tell you how delicious it was!! We tried all the meats, and everything has so much flavor and was super juicy. The best pulled pork and chicken I have had so far! The brisket was so good and tender, and the Mac n cheese is super creamy! If you know anything about bbq and how it should be, then you will love this place! The owner came out to introduce himself and chat for a bit, he told us how he would be adding to the menu soon, and I can’t wait to try everything they have to offer. Very chill atmosphere… we enjoyed ourselves. I would and have recommend this place! Great price for all you get and the quality.

Fun little place to go with the family, pretty calm later in the day, will make an effort to come during lunch to see if there is a difference, the food is good, but I feel it is lacking consistency between days, I hope to learn more in depth through further data gathering in the near future. Got the burger tonight, the ingredients were of a nice quality however it was pretty overcooked and a bit more of a sear than I would expect. Will order it again to see how things may change.

Delicious! Pulled pork may be the best I’ve ever had. Ribs were great. Coleslaw was good, crunchy, not soggy or sweet. Onion rings were sweet. No wait for dinner. Definitely on my list of favorites.

My sister and I stopped in to check out The Smoke Doctor. We had the Smoked Brisket Burger. It was so good. It melted in my mouth. With the smoky cheese and coleslaw on top. So so good! The owner came over and we had a great conversation about food and the housing market. Super cool guy. I can’t wait to share this place with my husband and friends.

We have been fans of the Hamburg location for years. Cornell knows his way around the meats and the community very well. We needed a place to have small wedding reception for 20 people. They were able to accommodate our party and needs with ease and friendly smiles. The food was great. The service was excellent. Everyone loved it. They have a small corner section that was intimate for our special occasion and were able to set up a few table decorations beforehand. Honestly, it was perfect. I highly recommend them for your date night or dinner party. Thank YOU for MAKING our special day super special.
