i live in Queens and only eat Chinese food from Pearl when i visit Remsenburg-its that good. Everything is always high-quality, well priced and incredibly delicious. People couldnt be nicer. Worth the trek from neighboring towns to enjoy.

I’ve eaten some ghetto Chinese food before. This place ranks high amongst those low rent restaurants in the city. The only difference was : no bullet proof glass and a revolving service window.
Old decor, faint off putting smell, dingy and a little dirty.
But I read the reviews and figured I try it anyway….
Food was meh. At best.
Lunch special was priced ok. And was your standard amount.
Quality was low.
Sauce was different
Peas and carrots in fried rice? And Not even cooked all the way through.
I was literally scared to try the sushi.
I’ll definitely not eat here again
Thank God it was only $10. I just pray I don’t get sick.

Been going to Pearl for along time. Any of their lunch specials are great. You get a good amount of food and you can tell the quality is good every time you go. Not gourmet quality but its good. Solid asian place. Everyone I ever dealt with always has a smile and is very nice. The inside has an odd smell to it so I usually just do take out.

The food is pretty good but they didn’t give me enough Sweet & Sour sauce for the large Sweet & Sour Shrimp dinner that I ordered. It was a tiny amount and I definitely did not get my money’s worth. I ran out of sauce long before I finished the shrimp. Hopefully it was just a one time mistake?
