The bartender Lex was funny and attentive to her customers without being obnoxious – her service and timing were fantastic. Seemed to have a good rapport with other patrons/regulars. 5 stars
The bar itself is a good size and there’s a few tables but there isn’t much room otherwise. They did have karaoke after 9 which was fun, but there’s not really room to dance to music. The parking lot itself is small and the area is dark but there seemed to be parking out front in the street that was well lit. 3 stars.
If you’re looking to talk to people, grab a seat, have some drinks and grab a bite this is good. If you’re looking to dance or need a lot of space this might not be it. Recommended to be aware of your surroundings heading to the parking lot after dark.
We arrived around 6 pm to a nearly empty space with flickering lights, a front door that barely opened, and beer cases stored in the seating area. It did not make a great first impression.
Service set the tone for the night. When asked what was available, we were told “Everything,” followed immediately by visible irritation when clarifying questions were asked. A drink glass slipped and broke, and instead of reassurance, the response was a prolonged glare and silence that made the situation more uncomfortable than it needed to be.
Throughout the evening, the bartender appeared openly annoyed to be serving us at all. Requests for ice or food were met with attitude, delays, or visible frustration. At one point, when I ordered food, I was informed after paying that the item wasn’t available. When I asked what was available, the answer was unclear, and I was taken behind the bar to look into a freezer and choose from frozen items myself. The food that arrived was overcooked and stuck together.
Multiple members of our group ordered drinks they regularly enjoy elsewhere and commented that they tasted noticeably off. Some were unbalanced, some overly sour, others strangely inconsistent. It was hard to know what to expect from one drink to the next.
We were the only customers for most of the five hours we were there. We weren’t loud or disruptive. Yet it consistently felt like we were inconveniencing the staff simply by being present. One member of our group limited himself to a single soda because he didn’t want to interrupt the bartender watching TV. I was hesitant to even ask for water.
This was meant to be a birthday celebration. Instead, it was an evening defined by uncomfortable service, inconsistent drinks, and disappointing food. I genuinely cannot recommend it based on this experience.
Ordered the cheeseburger and was shocked at how incredibly good it was!
It was one of the best dive bar burgers I’ve ever had. Seriously delicious!
Cash only bar (ATM inside), low light, no pool table, friendly patrons, great service.
Also Co-Co is my new favorite barmaid!
