Wakaba was the first restaurant I ever ate sushi at – that was about 20 years ago. To this day, it remains my favorite. I highly recommend the spicy combo! So much sushi for a great price. Lake Michigan is probably my favorite roll there, but their spicy tuna is the best I’ve ever had! Also, the owners are such nice people! Highly recommend!

It is a little place. It could be nicer inside. The bathrooms are outdated. Like 1980 style. But the food was awesome. My daughter ate it faster than Scooby-Doo could. Lol. I highly recommend this place.

Was unsure of how good this would be (strip mall restaurants aren’t always great)…but truly such a great experience. It was a bit quiet inside, but we made ourselves at home and decided to try. The food was really good – we got sushi, tempura, and teriyaki chicken. I got the Oyako Udon and it was great. Highly recommend.

Wakaba has the best spicy tuna and shrimp tempura rolls! They are tucked into a corner of a strip mall and have been there for years, but the quality is superb. The tuna basically melts in your mouth, they have an awesome spicy Mayo, and the owners/workers are super nice always!

Best sushi around town! I’ve had sushi at many places and have been coming here for over 20 years. Their spicy tuna is the best I’ve ever had! I also recommend the crunchy roll! The owners are very nice and the husband makes the sushi at the bar. He is amazing! Come here!
