I had lunch there today. The food was very good, except there was a hair in the soup (soup broth was bomb). I let the waitress know I barely touched the soup before I saw the hair. She came back with the check, I gave her my card w/out rebuttal to see if they would be courteous enough to exclude the charge for the soup. They said they had to charge me for it. I paid, left and wrote this review. No bueno.

I went there a while back with my sister, daughter and friend for an outing. The restaurant apparently had an infestation of roaches because one crawled across our table. When I got the manager’s attention, he smashed it on the table with his hand. Now mind you, we had been coming to that restaurant quite often and the food had been good. The manager never offered to take a percentage off our meal or to even compensate it for us due to our disturbing and frankly disgusting experience that evening! Needless to say, after that incident we never returned.

Very disappointed. I ordered to go. Four orders. The amount of food was not worth even half of what I paid. The meat was nothing but a thin sliced of fat for each order. Very little rice and flavorless beans. I’m not sure if dinning in would have made a difference but I would not recommend ordering out any food from here.

We were visiting from FL and looking for a nice place to hear latin music and this place came up on our search. We did not mind a cover as most nice places charge for the ambience. Howver, this was NOT the case. The Expensive cover charge did not provide a variety of music nor an ambiance. The drinks are expensive AND obviously watered down. With practically ALL men there, this is more of a local drinking hole than a nightclub. I would not recommend it 🙁

Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican,and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.
