Best eat in Deadwood. Your scroll is over – this is the one. Everything else in this town is just overpriced or crappy bar food; not only is this better than all the rest, it is genuinely fantastic!! Great value food and drinks, the margaritas are absolutely deadly super filling, unparalleled best restaurant in Deadwood. Massive thank you to Jose and to his mother for raising such a wonderful man!! Love from London

Food was delicious, I couldn’t finish it all but I’m very excited for the left overs. The host/server José was amazing, very friendly and he answered all of our questions. Atmosphere was great. There’s a fountain and the trickling water was so relaxing. Their margaritas are great as well. 10/10

Oh my this is some of the best Mexican food we have had in a long time. Wish there was big banner to advertise . We were looking for something to eat you wouldn’t even know this little gem was there so glad we found it. Love deadwood and Mexican food. Drinks were cold food was hot. Chips queso and salsa while you wait for your food. Thank you for such a wonderful experience this gentleman was so kind and very flexible on food options which is rare and he is biker friendly. Will definitely return and get the word out. Delicious. Wish I would have taken more pics before everyone ate. The rest of us couldn’t wait.

Real Mexican food, large serving, served hot, tasted great, price was reasonable. 16.99 pictured. Lots of steps to dining area was only draw back. Will definitely go back. Friendly waiter

Pretty average food, but a very family friendly atmosphere. The kids nachos were spicier than the adult tacos meals. Their Lengua tacos were excellent, and the beef with chorizo tacos were pretty mild. It’s upstairs, in what looks like a currently closed toys and games store, so be cautious if you have a hard time with steps.

Came just after tourist season. No issues with food or service. This restaurant has 2 other locations (keystone and rapid), with the Deadwood site being relatively new (2022?). It’s surpisingly authentic, the staff is fluent in spanish. The salsa and dishes are mild enough for the locals and children.

Go up the stairs inside and you’ll find an awesome Mexican restaurant with plenty of room and a great atmosphere. This was some of the most homemade Mexican food I have ever had. The enchiladas were awesome and the green sauce was the best I’ve ever had had. Service was fast but limited staff, clearly a family restaurant and they know what they’re doing.

The absolute worst Mexican food I have ever had. The rice tasted like a box of rice a roni. Awful chicken mole, running refried beans they have to serve in a bowl. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I give very honest, reviews. This was horrible.

The service was slow. It’s probably because the waiter was also the cashier and cook. The burritos were average. The menu read it comes with sour cream and also a salad. Neither arrived with the meals. It’s the weekend and also biker week in town. You’d think there would be more help on staff.

Absolutely the worst food (of any type) that I have experienced in years. The “carne asada” looked like “steak-ums” but actually tasted worse than I remember steak-ums tasting. The nachos, well, we must have missed the fine print that they were lactose-free because I have never ordered nachos that were served with zero cheese-melted or otherwise. That’s right…no cheese on the nachos nor on any other dish for that matter. This must be a cheese-free restaurant. The margarita’s were obviously pre-made and no special orders were allowed…reminded me of the Saturday Night Live skit-“No Coke, Pepsi.” The carpet was stained and dirty throughout. The service is 1 star because we would have to ask several times for basic needs without receiving them. One of the individuals in our party didn’t get his meal for 5 plus minutes after the rest of us. Please find another restaurant when in Deadwood.
