Hi! What a memorable trip. We visited this burger place in September 2024 and enjoyed the food immensely. It was especially satisfying after a long journey from Boston to San Francisco and Cupertino. Our road trip to Big Sur, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas was still ahead of us after Monterey.

We came in here for an early dinner around 3pm there was no wait. We ordered the big kauna and 12 wings which we split in half with each other.
The burger was flavorful and delicious. The pineapple was such a good touch it was just a juicy delicious burger. They give you a great amount of fries (even my his husband has issues finishing it!). The wings were nice and crunchy. They are just plain with your choice of dipping sauce. Regardless they were nice and not dry at all. We enjoyed both meals we ordered.
I would recommend if you’re in the area and in the mood for a good burger! The staff is so friendly!

Food was tasty. I ordered the point lobos (a cheeseburger with onion rings, bacon and BBQ sauce) it did not disappoint. I was very grateful that the BBQ sauce was more spicy than sweet. My wife ordered the works burger ( a cheeseburger with avocado, mushroom, bacon, & spicy Phoenix sauce) great burger all around. Good amount of spice from the sauce. Beef patties were flavorful, and the buns were nice and soft. The fries come out well done, they’re crunchy. I would come back again to eat here, after trying the other options that the downtown Monterey area has to offer. The staff was very friendly and sat us down quickly.

A baseball themed burger joint with about the best burger I’ve bit into ever…. Sure, it’s pricey but you get a lot for your money. The fries are also amazing…. Amazing!

We ordered the ring of fire and grilled chicken salad. Food came out fast and was amazing. Staff is very friendly and place is cozy. Not too noisy but not super quiet. Will definitely come back.

Stopped in for lunch as we were walking around the downtown area. Clean, aesthetic atmosphere. Incredibly delicious burgers. Everyone in our party of six chose a different option. I had the Sur mushroom burger, absolutely delicious. Another in our party got the Phoenix Chicken Sandwich, incredibly spicy and yummy with a family recipe of hot coleslaw that was amazing, but definitely not for an amateur palette. Be prepared for the level of heat lol. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend for a great family lunch spot.The fries and mozzarella sticks were so delicious as well.

Excited that they have so many vegetarian or vegan options. Impossible Burgers, beyond burgers and their own house made patty. I had the house made patty that comes with avocado. It was good! They also have beers on tap and in bottles. We watched an NFL game at the bar.

I ordered the spicy burger, and it didn’t disappoint! The slaw had a tangy kick that reminded me of a Lao papaya tamarind salad dressing—absolutely delicious. The burger’s meat was top-notch, juicy, and flavorful. Service was lightning-fast, and the staff was respectful. A solid choice all around!
