My daughter loves Jimmy John’s sandwiches to take to school. Ordered her sandwich and a couple extra this evening and put it in the fridge for tomorrow. Once we were getting her lunch ready for school we noticed all 3 of our sandwiches were wrong. Their website says they close at 9 called since 8:30 with no response. There is no way to request a refund or review that our order is wrong on the app. So I’m forced to deal with this in person. I have all three subs that will go uneaten. i will gladly take them back to the store as long as I get my refund.
For reference I ordered two little johns and a giant slim one. I didn’t even know they sold sandwiches in regular bread. Whoever ordered this definitely got screwed over too.

I ordered today from this location as I’m a big fan of their “Little John” sandwiches. Pair it with kickin ranch sauce, salt and vinegar chips, & a drink. Perfect portion for lunch or a lighter dinner.

I always order the Italian “Little John” with chips & kickin ranch. I’ve never had any issue, up until today.

My sandwich arrived and the oil was already coming thru the wrapper. I opened it and the bread is total mush. Totally soaked in oil and vinegar. Inedible.

I called the store to see if they’d redeliver. The “manager” says he cannot do that as he has no driver. I ask how he still is taking orders. He lies to me and says he shut off ordering. Well, I can place an order again. It was a total lie.

The tone and whatnot of the manager was terrible. He genuinely could’ve cared less. I ended up having to reach out to DoorDash and get a credit so I could order somewhere else for lunch.

They totally ruined my lunch. Refused to make good like a reasonable person. Had a careless attitude.

Thankfully, DoorDash had my back and made good. I will no longer order from JJ after this. They don’t intend to make it right and that is why they won’t see my money ever again.

You lost a customer today.

We used Jimmy John’s for pregame sandwiches for the 2025 football season at Dundee Crown HS they did a great job working with us every week for 9 wks. Logan the GM was super helpful and very nice to work with. The boys enjoyed the sandwiches and we will definitely work with them again next season!!

Dread ordering from this location because my order(s) hardly ever come they way I place them. Not sure if they are short staffed but delivery also takes a very long time.

Pictured below is my order from today.
Where is the turkey, provolone and avocado spread??? Instead I was given a BLT!? Also, there were no pickles, no olive oil, no oregano. Delivery took about 25mins – I live exactly 2miles/5mins from them.

Tried calling the store 4x. The phone rings and rings and rings until an old 90’s fax machine like sound picks up. Definitely the last time I order from this location.

Lettuce was brown, as shown in the photo. Cucumbers were slimy and for two days straight didn’t have kickin ranch. Haven’t had much luck at this location. Disappointed! Waste of money!!

This is feedback specifically for the Franchise Owner of this location: As you know, I placed a large catering order for an event in the beginning of May, 2024, that totaled about $1200. The first and smallest part of the order arrived on time but the remaining sandwiches arrived hours beyond the confirmed time and all of the guests had left, to get food elsewhere.

I understand life happens, things can get delayed beyond our control, etc. However what is most disappointing is that you were aware and did/have done nothing since from a customer service experience standpoint.

At the time your store manager was very apologetic and helpful in getting in touch with you about the issue. She let me know through text, multiple times, that you were aware and had reimbursed a large portion of the total, saying that it could take a few days for the transaction to process. I know this can be true and I was encouraged to hear this. However as of today, nothing has been reimbursed and no contact at all has been made from you.

I’ve reached out to JJ corporate, who has been responsive and and shared that they reached out to you multiple times. But nothing has happened. No response from you, no action at all.

As someone who has been in customer service/hospitality for years, the smallest gestures can go a long way in providing a silver lining to a negative experience. I have waited this long to post a review, giving the benefit of the doubt and opportunity to make it right. I am disappointed in how you’ve handled this and won’t be ordering again.

Pleasure of dining at Jimmy and John’s restaurant and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious options, ranging from classic comfort food to innovative and unique dishes. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dish bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The presentation was also impressive, as each plate was beautifully plated and visually appealing. The service was impeccable, with the waitstaff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. To top it all off, the prices were reasonable and fair for the quality of food and service provided. I highly recommend Jimmy and John’s restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. You won’t be disappointed.

This particular location on Algonquin Rd is a train wreck of a franchise. Freaky fast – ordered food and it “was out for delivery” for over 30 minutes.
Don’t bother calling their store, they don’t answer the phone. I’m pretty sure the store is ran without any or little management.
If none of that’s a big deal, just make sure you find out if they’re open that day. Random days throughout the week they’re closed.
If it’s staffing issues then make it a permanent part of your schedule to allow better staffing the other 6 days.
Just advise but if you’re looking for a quick bite and don’t care about all the other stuff and they happen to be open, good quality is normal Jimmy John’s quality. Which is good.

I live in a nearby neighborhood and often order sandwiches for lunch during the week. For a while I stopped ordering from this location due to issues with the accuracy of customization, delivery service/time, and quality of the bread (small, not proofed long enough), but over the past few months I have had a much better experience with the quality of food and level of service.

I’m not sure what steps have been taken by the restaurant to up their game, but my recent orders have been on time and delicious, and the French bread is back to the very high quality product that my fiancée and I were used to from other Jimmy John’s franchises. Thanks for brightening my day with your great product and staff and please continue to do so going forward and we’ll keep ordering!
