We visited the Chai Shai Sugar Land location for the first time. We’ve been big fans of their first location, where we’ve enjoyed the same dishes many times — always full of authentic flavor and consistency.
At this new Sugar Land spot, we ordered almost the same items, but the taste and overall satisfaction weren’t quite at the same level we’ve experienced before. It felt like the preparation or cooking style was a bit different — perhaps due to a different kitchen team or cooks.
Service was wonderful! The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. They made sure everything arrived on time and checked in often to ensure we were comfortable — truly a pleasant experience from the service side.
That said, we truly appreciate Chai Shai’s concept, hospitality, and atmosphere, and we have full hope that this new branch will soon match the same great quality that made us loyal customers in the first place. We’ll definitely visit again and look forward to seeing them bring back that signature taste we love!

If you love vibrant Pakistani culture and amazing food, this place hits all the right notes. The moment you walk in, the décor, music, and overall vibe make you feel like you’ve stepped into a cozy little corner of South Asia — and I’m here for it! ✨
Let’s talk food — starting with the Creamy Chicken Patties. These were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had — super flaky, wonderfully moist, and not dry at all. Total crave factor!
The garlic mayo fries were chef’s kiss! Creamy and tangy garlic mayo on top of the crispy fries.. I’m drooling over here!
The keema and paratha? Absolute comfort food perfection — rich, hearty, and exactly what you want on a chilly day. And speaking of cold days, the Chicken Khow Suey absolutely hit the spot — warm, flavorful, and just what I needed.
I also tried some of their other menu items (the Hunter Club Sandwich was a big yes ), and while I loved it all, I’m already planning my next visit to try even more of their delicious dishes.

This place is so lovely. I love their food and the atmosphere is so chill. I got the meethi puri and a dalgona coffee. First time here and I found my go to for studying and best pakistani food. Excited to try more! 11/10.

My son and I rode our motorcycles up here for dinner. They even had motorcycle parking up front. The food was amazing! Ayesha was a great host and was very helpful. Their burger and fries were great and the portions were large enough to feed the whole family. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed a nice evening. I highly recommend this place.

We came all the way from Dallas and our experience was great. Food was top notch. We had puff pastries, keema, anda quesadillas, mayo fries. Everything had a touch of Pakistan taste. We will be recommending everyone in Dallas to come here if they ever visit Houston. Music was great as well.

My favorite chai place around sugar land area. Try their famous Kashmiri chai and bun kabob that’s my go to order every time I visit them. Staff members are known for being friendly, attentive, and welcoming especially Aamna..she’s very courteous, polite, and respectful and always makes us feel welcomed.
The owner Moiz bhai is almost always around making sure customers are happy with food and services.

I had such a great experience at Chai Shai! I tried the papri chart, the club sandwich, and the zinger burger, and everything was flavorful and delicious.
