A regular living room, some food loving friends sitting around among them a tech professional and a seasoned chef, few cups of desi chai and a casual after meal discussion on ‘restaurant vs home cooked food’ is what lead us to Home Curries. From onset, we looked to combine the both and serve you the depths and flavors of home style curries in takeaway convenience. Just like how we cook at home, we use fresh ingredients and do not use any artificial colors or preservatives. With the availability (or lack of it) of certain spices, there are thousands different styles of cooking established across South Asia. Not only the ingredients or spices, the amount and in what order they are added in a curry could also make all the differences

Lovely food and a good price, the rice and naan breads were so fresh and the curry & tandoori mixed grill were delicious. We decided to give it a go as it was a Thursday night and not too busy. The young girl taking our order was really friendly too (Georgia?)

We just had our 1st takeaway curries from this restarunt. Although it took a bit longer to get here, (I didn’t realise they are in Branston, it was definitely worth the wait. The food arrived hot, good portion sizes and nectar to eat. We will be ordering from them again.

I had the most lovely takeaway curry from here I’ve had in a long time. It arrived quicker than expected but as I was so hungry I was very happy and the taste was fantastic, really enjoyed the meal and was absolutely stuffed. Would highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for a tasty and quick curry.

What a great place. I’ve never had a bad meal from here. They’re always so polite and lovely when you go in. They have a HUGE selection of vegan foods which are yummy, and unusual to find in a local curry place. Real authentic flavours. Excellent place. I highly recommend.

Ordered via Uber eats. An hour late from estimated delivery time, the end range of the estimated delivery time not the start. Just feel really indignant, £62 for that. Food was cold. Pickle tray for the poppadoms was awful, the mango chutney tasted the same as a popular brand purchasable from a supermarket yet tasted and looked like it was watered down. The yoghurt dips of which two of the little tubs out of the four were comprised of appeared to be mayonnaise based. The onion bhajis were clearly a frozen product as were the samosa.
Of the mains the Lamb madras I ordered was spicy enough but had no flavour, the Rangoon I ordered for my other half was watery and the two prawns in it which cost a surcharge of £6 were from frozen and rubbery. I ordered a Keema naan to accompany my main but alas it was keemaless having no fillings.
Overall very disappointing, massively overpriced, poor quality and extremely late.
When the order was late at about the half hour mark, I did via the app request an update, none arrived, so appear to not give a toss about customer service either.
